  1. Okay so I have a mod request. I currently use WAY more mods than I probably should for LSPDFR and found a few that work well alone, but when used in conjunction with each other, kind of ruin the immersion. My suggestion is for someone, more talented than I, to make a mod similar Debugg's tackle mod, that allows you to tackle a ped, and immediately arrest them rather than the tedious process of tackling them and letting them stand back up, just to have them lay back down to be cuffed. I typically like to make my own mods for such small inconveniences like this, however I am in no way an expert when it comes to modding, and I especially don't know how to incorporate lspdfr's functionalities into my own mod. Though I'm sure its possible considering there are mods like stop the ped that sort of overhaul LSPDFR's functions. Also, I am in no way suggesting to steal someone else's work but rather to take a concept and expand upon it. In the video linked below I show the way that I currently use the tackle mod in MY current setup to arrest combative peds. There may very well be another mod out there that already achieves this goal but I have not been able to find it. Side note, it seems like the entire default gunpoint arrest is done in one animation, so I understand that there may be technical limitations to flipping the ped over onto their stomach after tackling them, as is shown in the video, but again it's just a concept 🙂 Video concept: Mods used in the making of the video: Current lspdfr version https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/g17media/7792-lspd-first-response/ Debugg Tackle https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/40346-debugg-tackle/ Restrain the Deceased: https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/40798-restrain-the-deceased/
  2. Well, I seem to have solved my own problem. I did some research on the two files I mentioned before (.LS and .BAK file types) and found that the .bak one appeared to be a backup file. So, I changed the file extension from .bak to .ls and now my character is back. Very easy fix but I figured I'd add a comment on here in case someone else has the same problem.
  3. So, a while back I launched lspdfr and instead of spawning me as the last character I had played as, it took me to the character selection area. I then noticed that my last played character was missing from the lineup (I have made 3 custom peds.) I got to digging in the files and I found in the lspdfr/chars directory there are still two files associated with that character's name. My guess is that it somehow got corrupted but if anyone has any idea on how to recover him it would be great as this is the main character. Also, as a side note, I can still spawn this character in with native trainer, as I have several different uniforms/outfits saved. However, when I'm on duty and I convert my current ped to the missing character, lspdfr starts having problems shortly after and I end up having to reload the plugin which converts my character back.
