Any ideas?

Yesterday I was playing LSPDFR fine. Took a break, few hours later I tried again and LSPDFR won't load, nor any plugins/ scripts. My player (not the player I made for LSPDFR) spawns with pink hair, standing on a rock in the middle of no where. The game loads to the chick in the bikini and then my character spawns. It doesn't load where you normally see the other characters holding guns before spawning you. I've tried reloading plugins, reloading ragehook, scripthook, etc, nothing. When I rename the mods folder to _mods it works, but only LSPDFR vanilla, no plugins, vehicles mods, etc. Any ideas? RagePluginHook.log

This is not an easy mod to play... I watched videos and read posts. I still can't get mods for this to work. I do as the install instructions say for the mods for lcpdfr, go to start the game to test and it crashes. When I run lcpdfr on vanilla, no problem. Works well. Im clearly doing something wrong with loading/ installing mods thats causing the game to crash but I have no idea. This is way more complicated than gta IV.

Good day all, Long time ago I had played LSPDFR when it came out for GTA IV and it was a blast then. Since then, my computer went to the wayside. However, I have bought a new computer recently, and finally decided to play LSPDFR for GTA V after seeing all the videos. The trouble is, this is way more complex then when it was for GTA IV. I'm wondering if there is anyone who would be kind enough to help me through using Discord, to walk me through it in terms of what mods I need, how to install? So far I only have the game, LSPDFR, and Open IV installed. But when I loaded up the game, it didn't have the game beat. I had to play the first few missions before I could play as LSPDFR. I know what I am asking is a lot, but I had to do this the first time around with GTA IV also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mitch

Not sure I know what you mean. I tried launching as Administrator.

Did all of that. I've literally tried every suggestion, tip, recommendation, etc made on these forums, steam community, and youtube. Mitch

Hey Zen, Yes I only have the one folder. I had deleted the entire game and lspdfr, so I can't pull up the exact wording at this time. I'm doing another fresh install incase someone wishes to help me. It was related to rage plugin. I would install lspdfr, rage, and when I would launch rage to play lspdfr, it would load the rockstar then crash to a small window indicating an error (can't recall what it said, got to pissed off after a million tries). Good day everyone, So I've had enough of trying. I've read everything, I've watched everything. Followed every guide, suggestion, tip, etc to the letter and still can't get lspdfr to work. I've deleted and tried from fresh numerous times. I've tried downgrading to GTAIV with lcpdfr and same. Years and years ago when lcpdfr came out, I was only able to get lcpdfr to work back then by someone installing it themselves on my computer remotely. I think I may have to do that again. Last time I tried LSPDFR, fresh install of GTA V, downloaded newest version of LSPDFR, followed the videos, manual install, ragehook, etc. Game would run fine on its own, but the LSPDFR never worked. Everytime I tried to launch it from the rage plugin as shown, it wouldn't make it to the loading screen. Would just give me an error. So needless to say I'm out of patience and I'm asking for any good soul out there to help me. For years I've been wanting to play LSPDFR but can't. Can only watch in misery from youtube. I'm fine with someone doing a remote connection to my PC and helping me with this. I don't know what I am doing wrong, or what the issue(s) are. Cheers, Mitch

So I've tried countless times to mod the vehicles but I can't seem to figure it out correctly regardless how much I read and follow instructions. Everytime I mod a vehicle, I get the error pop up when I try to launch rageplugin. The only way I can fix the error is to restore the game back to default files but running an integrity check of the files using steam and redownload the files from steam. Anyone have any ideas to help? I'm really wanting to mod the game to play it like everyone else but I can't seem to figure this out. When I had GTAIV, someone had to mirror my computer and help me out and walk me through it so I can understand. Cheers, Mitch

Hey all, I have GTAV installed with LSPDFR. Started the game, it worked perfectly with lspdfr with NO mods added, just stand alone. When I tried to mod one car into the game going through the regular process, and changing out carcols, I tried to start up the game to see if the car would work. However, I got an error notice saying corrupt files, must redownload or install files or games. Any ideas where I went wrong? Solutions? I'm still trying to figure out how to mod gtav. Find it a bit more complex than gtaiv. Cheers, Mitch
