Hey Guys, Down in the US, there is a tactic that the police will use called "Tracking mode". If you don't know what this is, basically if the police think that they can't safely end a pursuit, they'll go into tracking mode. When they do that, they turn off their lights, switch off their siren, fall back and let the air units chase they guy whilst telling the ground units where the perp is. What they hope to accomplish is that the criminal will slow down. Well what if in the next version of LCPDFR, maybe there could be a button you could press for "Tracking mode" which would get you (and the AI) to shut off your lights and sirens and allow the air units to tell you (by radio) where the guy is. I know it may sound and look boring but I think it has a lot of potential
  3. I was just thinking this morning. You know how when you stop a vehicle, you can run the driver's license? Well what if you could also run their plates for the condition of the vehicle. Now I know it sounds crazy now, but think of the possibilites. You can see if the car has been stolen, used to commit a crime and see if the driver is really the owner. I also realize that this could take time to make, but it would be worth the wait.

Hello guys, I've seen a rather controversial discussion regarding whether there should be a roadblock used in LCPDFR. However, I was thinking (and I'm not sure if someone else has suggested it or anything), but instead of roadblocks, how about having some units race ahead in a pursuit to lay a spike strip down. I have GTA: China Town Wars on my iPhone and whenever I have a high wanted level and I'm in a fast car, they'll lay spike strips down and blow my tires. I'm thinking that this could be a good idea because instead of wasting ammunition trying to shoot out the cars tires, just have them run over the spikes (problem is that AI will probably go over them too and lose their tires so that could be a problem).
