Okay, so, this has happened to myself and a friend a few times. I am unsure if this issue is caused due to something related to LSPDFR, RagePluginHook, GTA V, or some other exterior force, but I figured I would put this here. So for context, we have been playing and everyone once in a while it seems as if RagePluginHook would crash, causing the entire screen to go black. You would be able to switch between tabs, open the start menu, open other software, interact with other tabs, but whenever you try to actually enter or switch over to another tab the screen would still be black. First thing you would probably do is try to Alt+F4 out of GTA V, but that doesn't work, so then I tried to close GTA V from the TaskBar, that didn't work, so then I tried to clsoe through task manager... but keep in mind when you try to switch tabs all you see is black so... surprise surprise; it didnt work. The only way to get rid of this black screen was to completely restart the computer. In the picture above, this instance occurred when a friend began a discord call, or when I searched up a Ped's name in the default LSPDFR computer (unknown which one caused it since they happened simultaneously, but I believe it may have been the computer since he has called me other times whilst I've been in game and no issue). Either way the game then froze for a few seconds then the screen went black. If there is other information you need regarding my game, RPH, or anything else let me know.
