    As a workaround, navigate to the desired category and hit 'Upload here' at the top right.

    I acctually made custom charges myself too. Seems to have something to do with modifying the Citations.xml and Charges.xml.
     
    EDIT: found the problem. There was an "&" character in the citations.xml which crashed compulite.
