  1. I removed my scripts folder and the game loads a bit faster but it's still laggy once you get into the game, so the problem is most likely with the main game itself.
  2. Yeah, I used to be able to play GTA IV on mostly medium and some high settings with my older graphics card that only had 510MB VRAM so I definitely know that the graphics isn't the problem. I will try moving the scripts folder now and I'll get back to you on whether or not it works. Also, thank you for your continued support with my problem!
  3. I haven't tried moving First Response yet, mainly because I don't know all the files to remove, unless it uninstalls like a game where you can just go to Add or Remove Programs. I have 1GB VRAM.
  4. I tried that as well, didn't work. I also tried turning off my V-Sync as well as lowering my graphics settings. No joy.
  5. I've turned off all unnecessary programs and I'm also not switching to GFWL or Steam in-game or anything of that sort. This has never happened to me before so I find it very weird...
  6. I don't have any other mods installed and yes, I tried running the game as an admin as well. Same results as if it weren't running as an admin.
  7. Hi, I'm new to this mod and I just downloaded/installed it today when the website was back up. I read a few threads in the support section about the problem I'm having but I couldn't find anything that relates. Basically what happens is I launch the game (I have the Steam version), press PLAY on Grand Theft Auto IV, then Start and then it takes me to the loading screen with all the concept art. Usually, the person in the foreground is moving forward while the background moves back in a smooth motion but after I installed LCPD:FR, it's been laggy on that. It'll continuously stay on the loading screen without any signs of progress and I never get into the actual game. Can anyone help me?
