He has used stuff from my mods in the past (improved pursuit ai, improved ai accuracy) and reuploaded them in his mods, borderline copy paste. But at the time it was a free release, and it was just meta files so I just messaged him to at least give me credit since I didn't care that much. Sucks to see that he's doing that sorta thing again but worse, especially with something like plugins, which takes 100x more work.

It's always depressing to see how much money the thieves are making, yet the people who actually put effort into making stuff get nothing.

I noticed there is a Functions.SetPedAsArrested to make a ped arrested within LSPDFR, but I noticed there is not an API to set a ped as no longer arrested within LSPDFR. Having such a feature would be extremely useful for a major project I'm working on with other devs that involve a custom arrest system, where we need full control over the arrested ped, and right now that is impossible since LSPDFR seems to have it's own behavior for peds when they get arrested (they follow you, and have a grey blip attached to them that doesn't get removed when LSPDFR is unloaded..)

    Hi There,

Good decision to play LSPDFR (again) and good to have you here.

I play LSPDFR several years and I modded the game to perfection. The provided Links here are hand picked and my favourites. It runs very stable and my aim is to achieve the greatest possible degree of realism and immersion and I attach great importance to realism and immersion. I have often read the question about stable plugins. That's why I decided to open this thread. i'm taking the time here to list the plugins with the links because i want to give something back to this community.

Most plugins are from lspdfr.com. but some are from GTA5mods.com.

LSPDFRExpanded (name might change at a later date) is set to greatly expand the roleplay abilities of LSPDFR. It aims to create a good sense of realism and progression to your average playthrough.

For your average playthrough, you might go onduty, play for an hour or two and then log off again. Rinse and repeat. The only kind of "progression" you actually gain are from CourtResults from mods like PoliceMenu and StopThePed. However even that isn't really a good kind of progression since it's basically just a text that changes. You don't really get any feedback from it.

With LSPDFRExpanded your average playthrough will greatly change. Let's start from the beginning (For LSPDFRExpanded to work properly, it is advised to press F4 and type "ForceDuty" for it to load properly):

    1. The first time you load up the plugin you will wake up in your own apartment. From here you have numerous stuff to do. For example you can take a shower to start the day properly. Go to your wardrobe and take your favorite clothing. Head up to the kitchen and start making breakfast. You are working the nightshift so you invite a colleague over to spend a few hours. Once your friend left you are taking your keys, bag and go outside to your vehicle.

    Screenshots:

    2. After going outside you unlock your vehicle and head to the nearest gas station to refill your vehicle. You still have a few hours to beat so what could you do? Every shop inside Los Santos is at your disposal. Wanna get a new haircut? Sure go ahead. A new tattoo? Your boss might not like it but you do you. Maybe you want to check out the new shirt SubUrban has to offer. Your friend told you, your car is looking very bland, why not buy a new one and tune it up a bit? However you choose to spend your money, it's sure a great investment.

    Screenshots:

    3. After spending your freetime it's time to go to work. When you enter your department you are able to chat with your coworkers, make new friends (or even enemies if you don't like a particular guy). Stamp in your time and go onduty, wether you do it uniformed or undercover. Don't forget you grab the keys to the squad car and your equipment! You'll receive a paycheck every 10 minutes with a maximum being 1 hour. After that you can of course keep continiung to patrol but you won't be paid. Remember, your work quality influences your life. Put your back into it and you'll receive promotions, with promotions comes a higher salary. After your work is done and you stamp out again, you can follow your coworkers to the local bar, invite them over to your place and so on.

Everything you do with LSPDFRExpanded is saved. Wether you buy a new car, change your appearance, make new friends etc. You'll never lose your progression and start from scratch like in vanilla. In addition to that, each character that you created with LSPDFR will have it's own savefile. Want to play as an FIB director with tons of cars, cash and more? Sure do that. Want to play as an lonely cop with no friends? Why not.

This should give you a good look at how I want this plugin to function and as you can imagine, there is a lot of work and love going into this plugin so I hope you are as happy with the endresult as soon as it releases as I am working on it right now 🙂

After you finish arresting a ped through LSPDFRs takedown system where you hold E, or when an AI unit finishes arresting a ped. If a prisoner transport unit is already called for a ped, I think the API shouldn't have an affect on it and it should continue with the transport. In my specific use case, I want to call it after a ped is arrested by the player or AI so that I can take over the ped completely after they're in custody. When it's called, if LSPDFR has any tasks applied to the ped, I want it to be cancelled/cleared (except the cuff task, since that has it's own API if I ever need to cancel it, or maybe a boolean parameter can be added for cancelling the cuff task), and if there's a blip on the ped that was added through LSPDFR, I want it to be deleted

Yep you're correct. I'm working on adding some error handling for that in the next update, as well as adding clarification in the ini for the max values.

You're setting the "TimeOutageLasts" value in your ini too high, right now its currently capped at around 2000. Id recommend setting it to 1500 or lower, ill increase the maximum value next update.

I wouldn't say complicated, id say it's more time consuming than anything personally. But I do have a callout pack in development that will be detailed, unique, and realistic. It's just going to take time to make.

I'm looking to just control the shooting portion currently, because one of the biggest pains about backup AI units is that when they start shooting, they don't stop until the suspect is dead, even if the suspect is laying on the ground and is injured. With an API to control their lethal force outside pursuits, combined with the current one for inside pursuits, a mod can be created where the player can tell their backup units to kinda "cease fire" which will make them stop shooting, but still aim at the suspect, giving the player a chance to take the injured suspect into custody. Adding this API would also allow callout devs to have more control over what happens during the callout without having to worry about backup units messing things up (for example, in calls where the suspect has a melee weapon, a callout dev can set up the call so AI units dont shoot unless the suspect gets too close). Would add more realism imo.

If you are referring to vehicle pursuit, TrafficPolicer by Albo1125 has a feature that allows you to change AI officers driving behaviour. Although that plugin is outdated.

    Or you can try this:
Those are the best ones that works in 2022.
