    It will remove anything modified in mods/update/update.rpf, yes. Make backups before updating, as it is required to update your mods folder.

    Using Windows File Explorer navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V/update.

    Copy the update.rpf into: Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update If you currently have an update2.rpf file in this directory - delete it.
