  1. Yes, I use an ultrawide monitor and play GTA V in that aspect ratio without issues aside from this. Can you give me some suggestions?
  2. Quick question. Were these screenshots taken after 2-3 pursuits or only on the first pursuit? The first pursuit always appears normal, and then the bug starts to appear on the second or third.
  3. A bit disappointing, since it does lock the mouse within a box and prevents you from clicking on the X for drug swab/breathalyzer
  4. There is an issue which has been observed by multiple people (including me) over the years, in regards to the LSPDFR Vehicle Pursuit menu either shrinking or growing in width over the course of multiple pursuits until it eventually becomes unreadable. This appears to almost certainly be linked to the aspect ratio that you use ingame, as the issue does not occur on 16:9 or 4:3(?) aspects. However, 32:9 causes it to grow (from my tests) and likely anything below 16:9 would cause the shrinking issue to occur. This has been reported on by me and several people over several years (as early as 2019 from my investigations) without any official response on the matter, nor any fix - which may very well just involve a tweak to ensure that the menu stays locked in size regardless of your aspect ratio. Some examples, which are not mine bar one: Shrinking Shrinking 2 Growing (This one is my example)
  5. Hey, is there any chance for improved (32:9) aspect ratio support?
  6. I was wrong - this is indeed a Unitrol 800! I'm going to be doing an update to this later on in the year to add the hi-lo found on the model as a replacement for the phaser sound when I can.
  7. Yes, but 90% certain it's the same, low quality sample from GTA SA.
  8. The second's what I'm most likely to do, would be much easier that way.
  9. I've been investigating the possibility of pulling this off, been dipping more into plugin work to see *how* to pull it off.
  10. Thanks for pointing this out. I'm going to do some investigation, but based off the wail it doesn't seem to be that model. My understand is that it could actually be a model off a fire engine based off the sound metadata, though I'm not 100% certain as to whether that is the case or not.

Best used with Dynamic Light System! This mod utilizes LML's ability to replace individual .awc files, and the result is (as far as I know) the first custom siren replacement using Lenny's Mod Loader. What sets this particular siren replacement apart from other GTA SA siren replacements? This is the only siren replacement for LSPDFR to use the original, uncompressed sound sample found in the Sound Ideas Series 6000 Ext. 1 stock library - which was recorded off a Unitrol Series 800 box. Additionally, I have done some edit work on the sample myself (mainly a slight treble boost and removal of noise heard in the original sample) to bring it up to a good enough standard for GTA V. At the moment, no phaser sound exists; but I am planning on replacing it with the Hi-Lo tone found on the original Unitrol 800 in future, if not making a custom phaser sound to fit.
  11. I've noticed the lack of any support for introducing GTA V's stock wanted tracks into LSPDFR, so I figured I'd make a dedicated thread since I'm interested in perhaps trying to develop a plugin to allow said music to play (e.g. during pursuits). I'm more also interested in seeing how many other officers would be interested in such a modification, seeing as the music is an integral part of GTA V's gameplay. A little background info why you can't just slap a .wav or .mp3 in and play that; in GTA V, the wanted tracks are split into up to 8 different 'stems', consisting of a particular instrument or group of instruments, which are then dynamically adjusted depending on several factors; including number of officers in a pursuit, high speed or not, or if on the ground firing at police and/or taking damage. I'd like to develop this specific system to be able to function with LSPDFR, taking into accordance the same factors that determine the intensity of a track but reversed on the suspect(s). Admittedly, I am a newbie to RAGE Plugin Hook modding, though I will be doing some reading up and practice over the next few days to determine the feasability of such a system. I'm not 100% of the realism type and I do enjoy having the pursuit music playing, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here. What are your thoughts on this? Would you support it being integrated into LSPDFR by the devs themselves, or do you think it should be left to modders?
  12. Hi, I'd like to issue a correction here. The Armored Kuruma is still a part of pursuits, I recently had it appear in a pursuit callout as of yesterday.
