I feel ya bro. haha Anyway, I have had UAC disabled since purchasing the computer. And after some digging I found a thread where Sam instructs another user to set compatibility mode and always run as admin. In using that will I not have to right click and select run as admin each time?

Alright so to answer your question, no I do not and never have because I am the administrator account on my pc. However I just did and my game booted up just fine and played flawlessly. For future should I be running all my games as admin even though I am the admin account? So I would like to thank you for your help ineseri.

Hello, so like most of you I have recently installed LCPDFR 1.0 (I used the automatic installer). All went well and I was playing my game without issue. I experienced fairly regular crashes but I deemed this normal as my computer is nothing special and this is a pretty intense mod for GTA. Well, after two days of playing, I tried to boot my game today. All was normal until I had just finished loading my save game which resulted in an instant crash. I have retried several times with no avail. I have not changed anything since my game was running and I absolutely clueless as to why my game would suddenly cease working. Any and all help is appreciated. Happy New Year, DMG 3 EDIT - Something weird that has happened recently as well is that I can no longer connect to social club and I am always having to select play offline now.

Please ensure you have the Taser model and texture installed. To determine this navigate to your main directory: Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV OR Program Files (x86)/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV (Follow same steps if you installed GTA 4 with Steam) Look for the files: amb_nailgun.wtd amb_nailgun.wdr If these files are not installed the Taser is not installed for your game.

This program looks amazing! I am sure it will operate the same when I finish my download. I would like to give my $0.02 however. Rather than have the departments set, allow the dispatcher to name the departments. In Canada there are RCMP, Provincial Police, Sheriff's, City Police, Peace Officers, EMS, and FD. I would love to see the ability for me to have RCMP, EMS and Fire Department rather than Sheriff's Dept. / Police Dept. / Highway Patrol. Once again just a suggestion and I am looking forward to full release!

Reinstalled GTA 4. Can Mark as resolved or Close Topic.

What is happening? I installed an ENB mod to improve my graphics. All was well until I spawned a vehicle through my trainer. Now I am left with no visual trainer. I can enable it using Rctrl + RAlt + E (I can see the message "Trainer Enabled") but I don't have a trainer menu. I have tried all of my F keys (F1, F2 etc.) I have never had this problem until I installed ENB. Version of ENB that I installed: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/enb-settings-v60-f21337 If anyone could offer support that would be greatly appreciated. If you recommend a download please provide a link to said download. If you would like pictures of my GTA directory or folder please say so. Thanks in advance!

I am In Lighting Stage 3. My manual siren works along with my air horn. For some bizarre reason my Siren_Toggle will not work. I have remapped several times but still it decides to not cooperate. As for GTA IV's default siren/horn key, nothing. Thanks for the suggestions thus far! Hopefully we can find a fix.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I have been through the manual several time with no solution. If anyone has found a solution PLEASE reply!
