[ELS] BCSO Pack w/Code3 Pursuit [DLC]
It didn't fix it but I must have done something wrong, I reinstalled everything in a clean mods folder and it's working now. Thanks for the help anyway!

[ELS] BCSO Pack w/Code3 Pursuit [DLC]
I didn't at first, then I installed it (along with the heap limit adjuster) but it didn't help, the game still crashes in the same way. I isolated it to this pack because if I remove the dlcpack and the line from dlclist.xml, the game works again.

[ELS] BCSO Pack w/Code3 Pursuit [DLC]
I must be missing something... Putting the BlaineCountyPack folder in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/ then adding the item line to the mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml file, I get an exception access violation 100% of the time at the end of loading just before reaching the game. Has anyone encountered this issue?

LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019
Are you specifically trying to not be understood? I mean, your location is "United States", you should be able to use english properly.

Actually, there's a mod for that, but I don't recall its name. For instance it will specify "on joshua road" instead of just "in señora desert" which is pretty vague.

No blips I guess. That could be very cool as an option.

People around here seem to have a hard time with numbers. It's 0.4, not 4.0 😁

What does it have to do with ScriptHookV? It doesn't depend on it so even if SHV is not updated at the time of the release, that's not an issue for LSPDFR in itself.

We can't blame them for making updates to improve what's making them earn money 😛

Nope, it was answered many times already.

Rockstar doesn't care whatsoever about any RP server, they live their life, making updates to the game for the online content. Their focus is adding features to GTA Online, not specifically bothering the modding community.

Once again, LSPDFR depends on RPH, so RPH needs to be updated to the newer version of the game, but that doesn't change anything for LSPDFR. The 0.3.1 version has worked for 3 years without update while RPH was updated for each version of the game.

LSPDFR is a RPH plugin so it depends on RPH, not the other way around. For ScriptHook, as far as I know, it has nothing to do with LSPDFR since it's another script loader (like RPH).

You will probably need the latest version of RPH as they will not release the plugin for an outdated version.

Clearly, the one I'm waiting for is improved AI.

@Runt I'm not blaming them at all for not putting more time into LSPDFR, I'm sure they already do much. I'm sorry if my message was misunderstood I might not have expressed myself correctly. My point was that there are ways to reduce the interval between updates, without necessarily throwing away job and family. Some examples are getting more people involved or releasing smaller parts more often. Those are just thoughts and there could be disadvantages in them that I didn't think of. Edit: Either the post I responded to was deleted, or I'm crazy (could be the latter to be honest)

Indeed, I don't pretend to own the truth, I'm giving an honest opinion.

It's not a new game, it's an update. A big one, I agree on that, but "just" an update none the less. I know some things like the improved AI must have taken a lot of time and tweaking to achieve what we're going to see in this release. But it doesn't seem like a "3 years" kind of workload. I don't know how many devs are behind LSPDFR but I imagine just a few as it took 3 years. If they don't have enough time to work on it, nothing stops them from getting more people involved. The community for this mod is huge and I'm sure a lot of very competent developers dream of working with them to improve the mod. With that said, I have a huge respect for those actually working on LSPDFR. A big community means a lot of pressure and expectation, and I'm sure they do their best.

They can't release it if it's not ready, although after so much time, it should be... I know it's a lot of work but let's face it, 3 years is a very long time and it's not like it's a full game we're waiting for.

Just wait until our hope gets crushed by the announce of a late february release date.

You don't have the right to do that to us, that's immoral 😢 Edit: I did notice it was a joke but not because of the date so let me just woosh myself before anyone does 😅

Cant replace Police3, it's killing me!
In case it's not solved... Nobody to see that the patchday4ng is not at the right place ? Really ? The structure of the mods folder must be exactly the same as in your main directory. So if in your main directory, patchday4ng is in update/x64/dlcpacks/ then you must put it in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/. It's as simple as that.

Downloaded file naming
Hi, I'm part of people who don't like having to rename every single file they download just because the file naming of the site is bad. I'm using mods from lcpdfr.com for years and each time I get to mod management, I look at my mods folder and see all those files with barely readable names starting by random combinations of numbers and letters. Here is only a fraction of my mods folder. It could be really cool remaking file naming system in order to have properly named files. Another thing I noticed is that names containing spaces are renamed with %20 instead of spaces. I'm not completely sure it's related to the site though because it has only happened a few times, and worked one time. Thanks a lot for your work.
