    I have a request that I thought I'd share with those who can make plugins.
     
    Nothing is more frustrating then endlessly PIT'ing vehicles just to have them drive away with four flat tires, a busted and smoking engine, no doors, and broken lights after being PIT 15+ times including head on collisions into light poles. My suggestion is to add some more realism to pursuits. What about a plugin that detects X amount of speed suddenly changing direction would cause the vehicle to shut off/stall? This is the main purpose of a PIT maneuver and I believe it would make a great addition to LSPDFR/LCPDFR.
     
    Psuedocode could be something along the lines of:
    1: Get speed of the vehicle in forward motion
    2: Check forward direction of the vehicle/Velocity
    3: If speed and velocity are not the same direction,
    4: Shut down the vehicle's engine
    5: If player is near the vehicle, stay in the car until forced to exit
    6: If player is not near the vehicle, escape and try to evade on foot
     
    Ideas/Feedback?

    Go for it. Send in your app, and under "final notes" just put your expecting to be fully operational by the time we start production, or something. Or just put your "theninja35 - LCPDFR forums". Something to remind me who you are and that you are trying to be ready on time.
     
    Thing is I wanna make a serious machinima, but it's a game, and it's a volunteer assignment. I need all the help I can get with it. We don't have to film the script in order of Scene 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. If you're selected for a Scene 4 and 8 position, and you're the last person we're waiting on, we can film scenes 4 and 8 last.
