Officer Tess Thompson has worn many hats in her 35-something years - Air Force Pilot, and now she's a Los Santos' cop.
Thompson was one of 17 officers who were recently honored at the annual Vespucci Cop Awards Dinner in Vinewood. The organization honors officers who have shown a commitment to making their communities a safer place to live.

Thompson joined the force in 2009. A native of Liberty City, she joined the military after college. She served 12 years in the Air Force as a fighter pilot stationed out of North Yankton and participated in multiple deployments to the Middle East.

"It was a natural transition from the Air Force to law enforcement," Thompson said, when asked why she chose to be a police officer. "I want to make a better community in my little part of the world."
When asked where she sees herself in five years, Tess said she wants to continue her career as a police office.
"I still have a lot to see and do," she said. "I want to experience it all."
