Figured it out. Get a fresh installation of GTA IV, use the downgrading tool found on this website to get it down to 1.0.7.0. In the downgrader's "select mods" screen only select xliveless and maybe shader fixes if you want them, as well as "download and install prerequisites" if you don't have them (you probably do if you've run it before). Also say yes to the command line txt. When done, download zolika patch and paste it into your game, and i also recommend the trainer. After this, go to the lcpdfr download page, and download the "LCPD First Response 1.1 Manual Install.rar", right now it's at the bottom, NOT THE LEGACY 1.1. Paste everything except dsound.dll into your game folder. Run game via the PlayGTAIV.exe or if you get an error via the LaunchGTAIV.exe, although you shouldn't get any.

Delete dsound as I use xlive. -I launch the game, it loads in, few seconds after I spawn in the game crashes without any error message -LCPDFR diagnostic tool says the ScriptHookDotNet.asi is modified, not true, i use the one that comes with lcpdfr. what gives?

Hello. Everything is working fine, the mods, plugins and everything are up to date. My only problem is that unfortunately sometimes I can't get a suspect out of the car. Sometimes it works, I press E, my char opens the door and pulls him out (throwing him on the ground most of the time which is also kind of awkward). Other times however, whenever I press E, my char will simply open the door and stand there, he doesn't get the suspect out, and the suspect is pretty much stuck in the car. Why do I want to get them out? Because often I deliver them to the Downtown police station and in order to jail them I have to walk them inside. Also something irrelevant I wanna add, probably not the right thread, but may I suggest the creators add some kind of towing service for the suspects' cars after arresting them? They're just left there on the street lol. Edit: It seems to happen mostly while using the cop walk style
