  1. Hey Chevyman, Im not sure what you mean by trolling? I would never buy sight unseen unless it is from a major reputable company like Dell (alienware) or Newegg, BestBuy etc. I have not heard of the 2 companies you reference but I will take a look-see Thank you!
  2. Hey Slimory, thats for the reply. Shortly after I started this tread I looked up alienware. http://www.alienware.com/Landings/desktops.aspx If money was not an object... which one of them would you choose to play a full blown out version of GTA4 and that would be your only game really. I may use it for some basic graphics programs like coreldraw etc. But nothing that a B.S. PC cant handle. So im thinking if you or someone can refer me to the correct PC... maybe I can buy the right components an build a system with the help of a couple of you tube videos. All this stuff confuses me. There are so many different graphics cards... power supplies mother boards. I just wanna do it right if spending $1500 - $2000 on a computer. Again thanks for the help everyone! Ziggy
  3. IM in NYC... So I dont trust these local "computer experts". Also I dont know what I should have as part of the rig... to be assured that I can run GTA without any issues and with cool life like graphics. Thats why I was hoping someone could simply refer a pre-built that would be awesome for GTA. I saw this video: Would this be an ideal system? Or is this already outdated? Thank you guys for taking the time to reply.
  4. As a NYC First Responder... responding to... working the scene for months... losing friends that day and years later to illnesses etc... I can appreciate the way you pay tribute... especially the scenes with the first responders looking up at the buildings. It was not done in a violent way. It was done in good taste. I appreciate your tribute. Never Forget 9/11 and those who lost their lives on that unfaithful day and continue to loose their lives from various illnesses as a result of responding and orking the scene. Ziggy
  5. There are many police commands throughout the US that use only Blue or Blue / Amber warning lights.... While many municipalities have incorporated Blue into their Red or Red/White color schemes, its not happening so much the other way. So I think having just blue is great. Maybe making a second option with red & blue would be nice too mut there are so many red & blue set ups from what I see on youtube. :)
  6. Greetings, I have played the GTA series on consols since the first one. For the past year at least I would watch all the cool mods and such that are created for the PC version of the game. I know my Office Desktop that I have home will not even play the basic GTA4 (tried to install with steam... oads but terrible graphics and slow)... let alone play and look good with all the mods and such. So I just sit and watch and one day hope that I will get some extra cash to buy a decent system. Well that day has come!!! Is there a pre-made system I can buy that will give me similar performance to what a lot of you have with all the mods... like Nutt's videos which make use of (ENB/ICE/PR8/ELS)? My budget is $2,000 - $2,500 if you could recommend a specific system (pre-built) on a popular retailers site... Where I would use the system just for playing GTA games. Im totally lost when it comes to the ins and outs of computers and what all the bios or whatever means. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you! Ziggy
