I'd like to get rid of a lot of the unnecessary controller bindings, using the Free Me! or Free My Controller plugins, but I'm aware these will remove the bindings for ELS, making ELS not work anymore. I've seen people suggest using Xpadder resolve this 'incompatibility'. Does anyone have a Xpadder profile for use with GTA V to add the ELS bindings back please? Or know what needs to be mapped to get ELS working again please?

I've fixed it... hopefully permanently. After the reinstall described, I installed only Stop the Ped and Ultimate Backup. After in the game as Michael, tested the DPadRight and it did, will a little delay, turn the car light off/on as usual. I then used the menu to go to the nearest station, held the DPadRight down for longer than usual, and I entered the locker room. All sorted 🙂

So I've just uninstalled GTA V and reinstalled via steam again. Run GTA V and it remembered my progress from story mode, so I guess either Steam saves progress online or it's stored somewhere other than the steam GTA file path. I then installed LSPDFR, run the Rage Hook but LSPDFR didn't start, this is because I had done the manual install and not set the LSPDFR plugin to be started by Rage Hook. So I then updated to the latest version of Rage Hook, run it so that it went through the config again (ensuring LSPDFR was set to autorun), then pulled up the LSPDFR menu, go to nearest police station, but yet again the DPadRight would not work. I can't get in to the Police Station in order to create a character, so of course the ForceDuty won't work either. Please again, any ideas?

I've noticed I'm not the only person with this problem, but there doesn't seem to be a solution listing anywhere. I'm got very frustrated the last few days as twice I've tried a fresh GTA V install (via Stream), then latest LSPDFR 0.4.7, updated RageHook to latest version, then installed Script Hook. So without any other mods I still can't enter the police station as DPadRight doesn't work! I can get in a car and use DPadRight to turn on and off the headlights, so I know it is not a controller problem. I know that some mods conflict with some keybindings so in the effort of trying to resolve this I went for a fresh GTA V install with updated RageHook and Script Hook and still the DPadRight doesn't work. If I don't load LSPDFR, but go into normal GTA V (offline version) the DPadRight works, so the process of elimination brings it back to LSPDFR. Any ideas please?

I've recently started to get the same problem. I did a lot of googling yesterday and got it working. Today that problem has come back and I can't find which solution worked yesterday 🤦‍♂️ The last thing I search for yesterday was I youtube video that goes on and on and on. The fix starts at 2:06 and its something to do with switch characters. In the vid he does it online, but we don't use online because of having mods. So I'm stuck in the same position as you again, until I can work it out again. Have you got any suggestions?
