Stupid question, I had a vanilla gta on my D drive, so would it just overwrite the files it doesnt need? Whats the best way to do it? Sorry I'm not good with all this...

So it was this download I tried to use, the meta file I pasted in the folder it said. I'm sure it didnt prompt to say replace or something like that. Really wish you could abandon changes to files and start fresh. Bummer. Thank you once again, I appreciate it

Oh ok, no I don't believe i did that at all, all I did was try add this car and it had a meta file which I think I put in and also I had to edit names of the police files as I had police_1 etc. Thanks for your reply.

Hi all, Hope everyones safe and well. I tried to install that Nissan GTR police car mod but must have done something wrong as when I go on duty and go to the police garage it crashes. Can anyone advise on how to fix this please? Also if anyone can explain if I need just one vehicle meta file or if you have to have multiple for the different cars you have. Many thanks in advance

Hi All, If I downloaded the UK police car pack and I already have some newer USA cars like the dodge etc in my skins that I choose from the station, how can I swap in to have the UK cars to chose from? Do they all work together, obvs I don't want backup using US cars if I am in a UK car. Many thanks,

Hi All, I've just tried to change some controls with els as it was conflicting a controller button with smart radio. I've then tried to sort out a issue with errors saying police smart radio and traffic policer compatibility warning with different lspd first response.dll I read to download albo1125.common which i did. Not sure if that linked it but now the game crashes and won't even start. I've got a crash report but don't know which programme to use to open it with as notepad puts the text in some weird Chinese text. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I've done this but it still wants to try update I can only presume its because I moved those 2 files to the mods folder that OpenVI created?

I have OpenIV installed and all of the ASI launcher, OpenIV.ASI and open camera as all installed. Am I missing something? Do I have to uninstall and re install these each time? Sorry may seem stupid question but I'm new to this and slowly learning.

Hi all, I have searched for this but seems to be a lot of different issues. So I am new to all of this so please forgive me, I've just installed a couple of new police cars having watching some youtube vids. Think I did it all ok, however I have a C drive with my standard version of GTA on it, then I run my GTA LSPDFR from my SSD, so I have limited space, on the vid it mentioned copying the update and x64 folder, into the mod folder, which I couldn't do because of the space required, so I thought I'd just move them into that folder as I knew I had my originals on my C:Drive. Now when I try run rage it simply says updating on the rockstar launcher, which I don't know if its trying to replace all those files back to orginal. Any suggestions? I wish I'd started installing these all to my D drive as I didn't realise how big this game would be. So if anyone knows how to move it with all my mods over, I owe you a beer! Thank you in advance.

I have the same issue but when I change it from E to say another key it still tries to over lap every time I scroll through the policer stop options. I've set it up as the below.
