I actually get rather great fps on clockwork. few sections come down but nowhere as bad as others have reported. I no longer use it because it sped up my memory leak issues and because it sucks for traffic and lcpd

enb will neuter that right up and then you can adjust the bloom which will affect the els as well. it will never be perfect because the game treats all lights the same. you change one, you change them all

funny because none of those really need work. traffic needs work the most. appearance of scale as well. for as big as gta4 is, the actual drivable area straight line wise is mediocre. i would love actual freeways. i guess that goes under traffic and bugs. hopefully if they make it pc they will do a better port

I had that happen on my recent gta reinstall (never happened before). just one of these weird bugs i just use snt or police helper to spawn the cars i want. i no longer even go to the station (force duty ftw)

I cant get over how weird euro cop cars look in the virtual NYC... else i would so rock the volvo wagon in the uk pack. if you go on radioreference you can play a usually local (depends where you at) ems stream in the background as radio chatter. so you do 2 things at once.

You have to modify the emissive field for lights to look right (google radiance mod bxbug) enb will massively dim the lights over stock gta making it even more important to bump up the emissive section

Eh? Are you having problem with the non halogen ELS to begin with? I've found no difference. els works the same way, whether its on halogen mode or led mode

No i have the stealth suburban (not the unmarked one, the stealth marked) and evis christmas tree lit tahoe. the new explorer is a ford 500 with a lift. not a fan

I had the same issue with the taurus. yes i changed handling.. still the same! seems to be part of the model? it would just flip and roll with about 3ft of suspension travel. loved that car too but chases were impossible.

origin or alienware. everything else meh.. asus is barely acceptable.

ironically enough for the op, traffic cops in gta arent actual cops. they are parking ticket maids. look up the models :)

im still with cge 4 beta. just removed the blur and bumped up the lights, dimmed taxisigns etc. the usual before i used cge3 but that had to be tweaked a lot 4 is so perfect im not touching it. cant imagine what he can do with 5 to make it better yes they eat 10-20fps depending that's icehancer not enb and ice is a crashing pos. 2 totally different post renders re extra sunny2, yes its normal for it to crash, lag etc

Heh welcome to the fail. I had the same issue (see my oldish thread @ support section) the only solution for ME was to install windows XP and play gta under that. els would not work under 7 for some reason. no definitive cause but it could be some update or possibly even driver. too much hassle to track it down tbh

I am very prejudicial in such cases because i know a lot of people who think nothing of shooting a dog or anything else really. It really is a person problem and one of the few cases where i will have to say your occupation is not a determinant. A few counties over there was an instance when some cop was i dont even know what he was doing, going through people's backyards (fenced) allegedly looking for contraband in connection to something something nobody really knows. So he was roaming about and he stumbled upon this one yard where he encountered some retriever mix. Shot it point blank and resumed his roaming. Didn't call it in, didn't file it, nothing. Owners come in from work in a few hours and find their dog shot. Call the cops and nobody knows anything. Then they eventually get to the security cameras and see the cop entering the yard (no camera @ back). They raise hell and eventually cop is tracked down. His reason was he "felt threatened" and took "appropriate action". Because where that happened they are less than ethical nothing took place, not even a dent on his record (which is worth nothing). In my city, a k9 unit was responding to a call (that was in mid 2010), it was some domestic bs, he figured he would be in an out quick. So he gets there and parks the car, which happens to be on a particularly strong incline (like a really crappy driveway, you know the ones). Car is running, its about 104 outside, just typical summer here. And things get dragged on inside, there is some he said she said, everybody wants to press charges, file reports and statements etc etc. Quick call turns into like a 40 minute affair. Another unit gets there to help process it all and separate the parties and get it all done. The backup is heading out, original unit still inside wrapping things up ensuring they wont beat each other up again after he leaves. 2nd unit goes outside and and shortly comes back and it is like "your car isn't running..." Guy storms out and short story dog has baked inside. That person wasn't right for 3 months after that and left the canine division. That was his pet and his work associate he took it home after each shift. His kids were growing up with it for the past 2 years and what not. He was a wreck and he is the kind of person who would never harm a dog unless in absolute dire situation, uniform or not. What happened? Too big of an incline, too little fuel in tank and fuel pump ran dry and car shut off as it was there for over an hour. These are two local stories that i feel are pretty reflective on how people view animals. Some fall in between but the vast majority are on either extreme.

which is why you wont even see it for PC again ok who here is ready for when they dont release it. oops. It just depends on the person. I wouldn't do that because of variety of reasons, namely because i never buy the same thing twice and because the missions and all that.. never appeal to me. I didn't finish gta 3, nor did i finish gta4 mission wise. i got bored annoyed and repetative @ 70%. i am currently trying to work through assassins creed 3 but i spend more time chopping any redcoat i see than getting to my next mission. and i skip all cinematics. i think i am at 13%? not even sure where. i spent 2 hours killing redcoats today lol. 0 game progress. but some people enjoy the scripted storyline (i remember half life in 1998 and its awesome cinematics in game renders. i would replay the intro many times over just for that).

You can already address this yourself by adjusting the number of cops in the popcycle.dat file. The stock numbers are way out there which results in a bunch of cops joining on your pursuit. Bravehearts script does this. Give it a try

I have disabled call outs. The stock game has enough going on you can always find something to do on your own. If you cant... well... lol? We need more interaction indeed. I want to click check boxes when citing somebody.. just anything more than a single key press. also, different fine amounts. 100$ is not even a fine anymore.

It's a vehicle spawner - respawns them with every game @ predetermined coordinates. good way to crash your game spawning heavy poly models at random. add on els and i doubt you will last more than 2 minutes of gametime
