I found out that is was because of Natural Vision Enhanced. But now my game crashes when i go on duty. I tried seeing if it was one of my plugins but i cant figure it out. I attatched my log if youre able to figure it out, thanks! RagePluginHook.log

So, i found out that its just when i have dinput8.dll in my gta directory. But when i take it out and try to open the game, it works. But dont i need dinput8.dll to run most mods? This is the error i get when opening the game with dinput8.dll in the directory.

Thanks for your reply. I have already redownloaded it. Whenever i have scripthookv and dinput8.dll in my gta directory, the game wont open, but when i take them both out, the game does open. Not sure why.

I'm trying to play LSPDFR, but I just reinstalled GTA. So I have the latest version of GTA 5. But whenever I try to run the game with ScriptHookV and DINPUT8.DLL, the game gives me an error message (when i take scripthookv out of the game directory, it works, so it is ScriptHookV that is the issue but i need it for all mods). I did some research, and I was told it is because my version of GTA is too recent, and ScriptHookV hasn't updated to that yet. So I tried to downgrade my game to an older version to see if that would work. But whenever I did that, I was then told by Rockstar Games Launcher to update my game before I can play. I downgraded my game to Version 1.0.2944.0, but that may be too far back. ChatGPT told me that Version 1.0.3028.0 was the most recent version i can use with the latest version of ScripthookV, but i cant find a download for that game version anywhere. So now I am stuck and don't really know what to do. If someone could help i would appreciate it.

I tried what you said, but still doesn't work. I have also installed the LemonUI stuff. I don't have NVE but i do have QuantV, im not sure if that matters. I've attached my ScriptHookVDotNet.log (i also noticed that it doesn't say that it started SimpleHud in the log file i attached.) My scripts do not work at all, i have a scripts folder with some scripts in there and none of them work. Ive tried looking up fixes, but cant find anything that worked. I installed the C++ Visual stuff, all 3 scripthookv's, dinput8, all that stuff, and nothing in my scripts folder works at all. If someone can help, thanks.

i changed my mods folder name to _mods and my game ran fine. So it is something in my mods folder. Is there a way to know whats causing it or do i just have to start removing stuff that i added? (Edit: i was looking around and i think it might be the mvga mod that i added. How can i uninstall that, because there is no oiv uninstaller for it)

i already made sure it was up to date, my game still crashes.

I dont think its a plugin because when i load normal gta v story mode, it still crashes to my desktop with no error message.

I keep getting desktop crashes 5 min into playing. I attached my crash report. Could someone please tell me the problem. crashreport.txt

When i go on duty my game crashes. I realized that it is because of ultimate backup plugin, because I only put that in the plugins folder, and it crashes. Does anyone know how to fix my ultimate backup plugin? RagePluginHook.log

how could i fix that? because i didnt do anything with the baller2 model, only the police ones.

that might have been from a while ago because i dont have traffic policer installed anymore.

So, when i load up LSPDFR, everything is working fine, i can go on duty, respond to callouts, etc. But around 15-25 minutes into playing, out of nowhere, it pops up in the bottom left saying something about LSPDFR plugin crashed. I linked a pic of my plugins, maybe one of those are the problem. (I also linked my RagePluginHook.log) RagePluginHook.log
