Hey whats up guys I know this is somewhat of a old forum post but my friend just encountered this problem after reinstalling grand theft auto and what you wanna try is 1) In windows 10 start menu click Settings 2) System 3) Sound 4) Scroll down to Advanced sound options 5) At the top make sure your output has the correct device selected. If you use voicemeter for example you will have to make that the default, not speakers. Sometimes after a windows 10 update it will randomly disable a speaker device or microphone device and you have to either re-select the speaker device, or give application permission to a microphone.
