You might need to install a trainer and disable your keys. Try that and see if it works.

I'm pretty sure your talking about the vehicle.dat or vehicle.ide file in your GTAIV>COMMON>DATA folder. Try putting a vehicle.ide in for that particular type of vehicle.

I just encountered this problem. I have re installed the trainer and went back to an older version and yet nothing works. It is really annoying.

Logitech G35's are pretty good. I have them and they have programmable buttons on them so they are pretty good.
