the new gamepad is a generic one no name

i had to buy a new game pad my other one broke and it was a logitec and work fine with game and the one I have now dosent work at all

when I start rage I go into a night mode and its snowing and I can only cycle weapons inside car which r only pistols and a stun gun whn I leave vehicle whn I push tab key the weapons control wheel dosnt come up no flashlight or rifles

when I start up rage the game starts in nighttime mode and stays like that and only gos to daytime mode if I get killed I start outside hospital then im in mode were days and nights cycle and also im able to use weapon wheel only when in this mode not when I first start game and night mode only can use pistols

since ive been playing lspdfr im not able to start in in gta mode it is always night with snow and im not able to get to weapons wheel at all no flashlight only pistol and tazer what am I doin wrong
