  1. Thanks a lot! Where do i find the Horns.ivaud file in sparkiv?
  2. Hey everyone. I'm finally getting the hang of all this. My last question is: How do i get the lighting to work on the CVPI i installed with SparkIV? Also, how do i add different sirens? I have downloaded them and they are ready to go where they need to. Thanks for any help!
  3. Sure am. That's kind of a silly question, but in my situation its fine. Afterall, this is probably a simple issue. Well then. Dont i just feel like a fool. I was pressing CTRL + P I'm going to spend the rest of my morning in the facepalm postion. Thanks for the help!
  4. I had this same problem all day yesterday. I found that after i updated GTA to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version) and made sure i wasn't running DSOUND and XLiveless at the same time, it loaded up and ran smoothly. Hope this helps somehow, i'm new to this too. Good luck.
  5. Hey Everyone. I finally got the program to load, and appear to work last night after trying all day. Now i've got this problem when i press ALT+P it says "Duty Forced" And doesn't give me character or car selection. Am i doing something wrong maybe? Any help is appreciated.
  6. Do you mean the LCPDFR files? If so, no. Once it worked at least part of the way i haven't made any more installations I re-installed the LCPDFR 095 RC2 R2 application. Still does nothing but say "Duty Forced" I can use the LCPD cars to pull over and ticket. But cannot play as a different character, and have a cruiser. Also, i acquire a baseball bat. Strange, but i'm sure this has happened before to someone.
  7. Hello everyone, I joined this forum tonight after scratching my head for hours, and going through forums trying to get this figured out. Here's the deal: I bought a copy of GTA at walmart last night. I had to install Xliveless to get it to open do to the "FATAL ERROR WS20" After doing that i could open the game, and run it smoothly. Then, i updated to the latest version and it's all been down hill. I can get GTA to open by running "LaunchGTAIV.exe" as admin, but it stops unexpectedly and closes. There's no Error message that follows. I ran the Diagnostics program supplied in the forums and turned up 0 errors. Here is the text that it gives me: BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.1.0 Build: 7601) Service Pack:Service Pack 1 System RAM (GB): 7.48 CPU cores: 4 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 0, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: True GTA IV - Asi loader: XLiveLess GTA IV - Asi loader valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True End of *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Digital signature: mA0J9IphI3VZRHeIOWgD5Q== But it still won't play for me. I'd really love to get to play this, there's gotta be something i can do, right? Any and all help is appreciated greatly. EDIT: I found that when i ran the update (1.0.7.0) for the first time, it never updated correctly. Now with the updated version it runs and goes into "Duty Mode" However there is no red circle infront of any of the PD's and i have no vehicle or character selection. Is there something i need to do?
