MODEL BACKGROUND: The Utica Fire Department is based out of the City Of Utica in Oneida County, NY. This model is a 2017 Pierce Fire Engine, although the texture was made for the Sutphen's that the Utica Fire Department actually uses. There was no accurate Sutphen model for me to use for this texture so I went with the Pierce model (linked below). PRE-REQUISITES: You Must have the Pierce Model that I have linked below installed! This texture for the Utica Fire Department was made specifically for said texture. If you attempt to use this on a different model, it may be distorted, just a forewarning. INSTALLATION: 1.) Go to open IV 2.) Go to the patchday directory that your 2017 Pierce Arrow model is installed in 3.) In "vehicles.rpf", scroll down to "Texture Dictionary" and find "firetruk.ytd". 4.) Open it, and scroll down until you see "firetruk_sign_1" 5.) Click on that, and go to the top and hit "Replace". 6.) Locate the png file that I included in the zip folder with the UFD skin (assuming you dragged it onto your desktop) and replace it with that file. 7.) Hit save at the bottom right. 8.) Go to firetruk_hi.ytd and do the same thing as step 6. 9.) Hit save at the bottom right. Thank You for installing my UFD Pack. This rig is based out of Oneida County, Clarks Mills, NY from an Agency Called "Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps". This livery is no longer in service as of 2022, and COCVAC has implemented a ghost skin livery for their new ALS Intercept vehicles. VEHICLE BACKGROUND: In EMS, Sometimes Basic Level EMT's need a higher level of care in the prehospital setting. With these vehicles, advanced providers such as Advanced EMT's, or Paramedics who are staged at headquarters can meet with a basic level duty crew to assist with an advanced level of care to the patient. We call these vehicles "Fly Cars", as they're used for ALS (Advanced Life Support) intercepts for basic EMT's. UPDATED LIVERY? I did mention that this livery is no longer in service as of 2022. I do in the future have plans to make a new skin based on COCVAC's current fly car's ghost livery. As to when, I'm not sure.
