Man I tried everything else and it didn't work. I know you don't have to delete your save game but here is what was happening. Els V8 and 1.0d didn't play along so nice, I would make a change in a slot.ini in the ELS folder and it would completely corrupt my save game. I figured out by deleting the save game I could at least get the game to load without crashing. No ones advice is end all be all so you shouldn't approach it that way. I have all the lcpdfr save stuff turned off, I don't want or need it. ELS and lcpdfr were causing an error that would corrupt my gta iv save game. Deleting it and starting over fixed it everytime.

My girlfriend loves Jenna and I have to admit her videos are hilarious at times. I dunno though I think a lot of the big youtube channels are too saturated with advertising and this never ending push for subscribers. I get it I do but when is enough, enough? I am reminded at least 60 times I need to subscribe to their channel because they are the best. I think it is a tad narcissistic but I suppose to have a handle on that kind of channel you would have to be? It is an interesting thing.

well you were only supposed to delete the save game folders in the appdata but deleting local files from steam uninstalls your game entirely. Start over I guess.

That was the very first thing I did, the whole save game thing did not appeal to me and I turned it off immediately. No matter what I did I got the insta crash upon loading the game and lcpdfr told me it wasn't it's fault etc. delete all save games and starting over was the only way that is fixed it for me.

The correct way to fix this issue, (I had it myself) is to delete all save games in your C:/users/you/appdata/local/rockstar games/GTA IV/savegames. Delete all the folders and yes this will require you to start all over again but if you just play GTA IV for lcpdfr like me you only have to complete the first mission. Drive to Romans skip the dialogue and walk outside to get over the annoying pop ups that tell you how to eat a hot dog. Go back and save your game in the bed upstairs. Wahlah you have a working lcpdfr again. I would note that I never had this issue before installing to 1.0d. It seems that something in there corrupted all of my save games. As always do this at your own risk!

I have to say thanks to the team and all they have done for LCPDFR over the years but it has come to a close for me. I don't think I will ever understand the reasoning behind showing us RC3 for so long just to say "we have at and you don't." Regardless GTA V will be coming out and I will be moving on. "Liberty City It's Over" has never rung so true to me before! I understand the development process and how long it takes and that is why I have never come on this forum to beg or ask for a release date. This is fantastic news! The community has been waiting a while to hear about this and I for one am glad to see it becoming a reality. You guys are awesome at what you do, scripting and programming truly is a talent only few possess and I appreciate everything you have put into this mod.

They just posted some fixes for that mod on GPM the other day. Is your game still crashing? Perhaps you should clear your saved games and start fresh.

HAHAHAHA I know, I had to keep that in my mind for the police report. Also I recently settled my dispute with youtube copyright and they gave me extended time for videos. No more partitions!

I have decided to just consolidate this thread into links to my videos instead of having multiple ones. I have a question, does anyone know if the youtube views count when being viewed from this forum? I have a sneaking suspicion it does as the same as facebook and doesn't reflect on your youtube channel.
