New York State Police (SASP) Ultimate Pack
Yeah my bad I meant to go back and fix that. Since you are replacing it, the metadata for the cars in the game are sufficient, so you don’t have to worry about that. I would recommend changing the handling data, which you can find in mods < update < update.rpf < common < data < handling.meta. Just open the custom handling file and copy the text and paste it into the handling.meta before or after any of the other handling files. You don’t need this but it makes it more realistic. Then from there go into the levels < gta5 < vehicles.meta. Do Ctrl + F and do >”name of model”< (ex: >police2< ) and change the handlingid (3rd line) to nyspchg for all of the models that are chargers. You can also scroll down to <flags> and make sure there is on that says FLAG_HAS_LIVERY, this will allow multiple liveries, I.e. unit numbers. Hopefully this helps you out, if you have any questions or encounter any problems, let me know and I’ll do my best to help fix the issue. Yeah I forgot to change that from must add to “add on metadata”, I’m going to do that in a few hours when I’m back at my computer. I’m going to make extra 10 ALPR’s, and remove any script from ELS which involves rotary lights, which are controlled through extra 10. I have to make sure it doesn’t crash, but I’ll have interior and exterior ALPR’s and radars. I still need to make a few more things and I’m changing the console setup once I get the dimensions and specs from a friend of mine who is a trooper, he’s been helping me out with this pack. I have all of the specs for the 2011-14 chargers, as I own one that matched NYSP specs, but the 15-18 are slightly different. And yes the risers are sweet. They have them in NYC, and have had them for 2ish years now. We don’t have any in Westchester but I see the city fleet enough. I’m going to be making a few more models of the marked/unmarked with the same equipment but slightly different lighting setups that are used less often in my area, but somewhat more often in SP Liberty (Troop F).

New York State Police (SASP) Ultimate Pack
Do you want to have the cars as addons or do you want them to replace the police cars that are in the game?

New York State Police (SASP) Ultimate Pack
I have done this on other models, however NYSP doesn’t light up the running light that goes around the entire back of the car, they only have the brake light flashing. I do agree it would look amazing, but unfortunately that’s not what their cars have.

- Version 0.4.65 UPDATE
What is up guys, I'm super stoked to finally be able to share my pre-release of this pack with you all. This pack is based off of the New York State Police, who's Troopers enforce the highways, interstates and freeways of New York State. I have done my best to accurately replicate the lighting setups and all of the parts used by the NYSP on their fleet, and in doing so I have spent hours attempting to recreate a single vehicle. OVERHAUL UPDATE COMING SOON - as of July 2022. I have put countless hours towards this pack, and donations are greatly appreciated, and those who donate will get to have an inside scoop of what is coming later on, have the models a few days before they are released to the public, and will get to decide what models and variants I make next, or suggest new variants that I haven't included. OBVIOUSLY if there is something wrong with one of the models, let me know and I will fix that before working on something else, but I have a whole lot of plans for this department and a few others, so any assistance is super helpful as I pay for all of the programs I use out of pocket. Please note: this pack is a work in progress. I will try to release new versions as soon as possible. I would recommend following this pack as I might be updating it daily, as I have been recently, or even multiple times in a day. In this pack: All models have red Whelen Ion's on the front and sides of the pushbar, with the headlights synchronized to the Ions. The rear of all cars has a Whelen Dominator 8-Stick TIR3 custom in amber unless otherwise stated below. 2015 Dodge Charger Marked: 4 - there are 2 different lighting setups, some external parts change on all models. Roof: V1-4: Whelen Liberty custom full red with 2 blue and 1 amber in rear, offset left. $4,900 each. Hi-Riser 1: Whelen Hi-Way Riser. Hi-Riser 2: Whelen Liberty custom with Whelen Hi-Way Riser custom mounting brackets, base and control motors. Rear: V4: 2 Whelen Avenger Single (left blue, right red) near top of rear window 2015 Dodge Charger Slicktop: 5 - as of now there are 5 lighting setups for the rear and 2 for the front. Front: V1 - 2 Whelen Avenger Duo W/R color, flash with matching colors. One centered near bottom of windshield, one centered on passenger side sun visor V2 - Passenger side Whelen Inner Edge Visor Bar, R/R/W/R/R/W color, flash 126, 345 (being the order of the colors just presented beforehand from left to right) V3 - 2 Whelen Avenger Duo W/R color, flash with matching colors. Both centered with passengers side sun visor Rear: Left side of car is blue lights, right side is red lights V1 - 8 LED Whelen Dominator TIR3 Traffic Advisor with blue outermost and red second outermost light heads V2 - 2 Whelen Avenger Duo (left full blue, right full red) just above TA, angled slightly outwards. 2 Whelen Avenger Single (left blue, right red) near top of rear window above Duo's V3 - 2 Whelen Avenger Single (left blue, right red) near top of rear window V4 - 2 Whelen Avenger Single (left blue, right red) near top of rear window, 6 LED Whelen Dominator TIR3 R/B/R/B/R/B alternates R/B, Avenger flashes opposite color of Dominator V5 - 2 Whelen Avenger Duo (left full blue, right full red) just above TA, angled slightly outwards. I might make unmarked units as well if I can get the specs used for them. I also might make NY Bridge and Tunnel Authority cars (NYC bridges and tunnels) because they look a lot like NYS police and are seen a lot in the city, but it definitely won't be a huge project. Feel free to donate if you enjoy the pack, it helps support myself and other contributors, pay for programs, models, and motivate us to continue to provide the best that we can.- 55 comments

[DEV] Whelen 295HFSA1 Siren Controller and Remote
Yeah I love it. I have the M1 technically, not the A1. Basically it has the manual (only the manual where the siren descends after the release of the momentary, on this system it's the PA/RAD selection) is a mechanical siren tone. However, on the MAN setting, to manual siren is the same as the normal tone, and it cuts out after the release of the momentary switch.

ELS Interior Lights Don't Work
Hey, so I have been doing a lot of modeling in Zmodeler3, and I have made a variety of vehicles with ELS lighting setups. I keep running into an issue where any interior light (visor, dash, TA, anything inside of the car) does not light up at all, even if the extra they use is on a *working* light on the exterior. I can't seem to find any solution to this issue, I have tried moving the extras through the hierarchy and redoing the LOD's, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to try them. Fixed issue: I was looking through my material browser and I realize that I forgot to move the emissive materials to the top of the list in the material browser oops...
