  1. Section136Callouts has got some neat functionality coming in the next update which will halt loading of the plugin and warn you if your RNUI is outdated. If you choose not to update, please note that Section136Callouts will refuse to load until it is updated. This is to stop your game from crashing though, so I hope it is helpful 🙂 Thank you for using my pack 🙂 Update - Section136Callouts 1.0.0.XXX and 1.0.1.XXX In short, new versions are coming. Don't worry - I'm working on them. If you want a nice little bit of information, I just posted some over on the "newsfeed" on my website. Be sure to check it out! 🙂 https://maxplayledev.org/home/#news
  2. Hey just so you know, the "version number" you put here appears to the person who is just quickly glancing over this, as "this mod is outdated and shouldn't be used". Here's what I'm talking about: You may want to reword it, to something like "These words can no longer be heard:" or something along those lines. Hope this helps 🙂
  3. Update - LSPDFR 0.4.9 Just to reassure users of my callouts, it is very unlikely that the pack not having been updated since LSPDFR 0.4.9 was released will affect your gameplay in any way. The pack should function just fine, along with most other packs, alongside the new update for LSPDFR. If you have any issues running the pack on the new version, please do let me know here: https://maxplayledev.org/section136callouts/report/reportabug, via my Discord Server or by leaving a comment here. Important: Do not report issues as a review, this is a violation of the LSPDFR Community Guidelines and will be reported. In Short There's nothing to say that Section136Callouts will not continue to function perfectly fine on the new update. There's been no wild API changes and therefore, everything should function just fine. That said, I'm working on an update for Section136Callouts (version 1.0.1.0) and consequently can fix any issues reported to me. Have a good day! 👊
  4. Due to the minimal changes in the LSPDFR API within this update, and there being no change in the RPH API (die to the lack of an update) there should be minimal disruption. The only thing I will say is mods with an “expected version” kill-switch might cease to function, but in most mods - this won’t affect your ability to play. Obviously, there might be some minor disruption, but don’t expect anything too massive - and even then, authors will update the mods over time, so it’s not a massive issue. Have a good one :) I have to second this. 😂 Thank you for your continued hard work, people! 😎
  5. Thank you very much. If you wouldn't mind heading to the top of this comments section, hitting "Reviews" and leaving a review I would very much appreciate it. Other than that, thanks very much and I am glad you are enjoying the mod.
  6. That is a callout which would take a while to produce. Whilst I would like to implement it one day, I really can't say I have the time to do it currently. This is very much a spare-time project, and I have work and other personal commitments. That said, it's certainly something I'd like to add one day, but I can make no promises to you today, unfortunately. Thank you taking the time download my pack, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. Regards, Max
  7. Somehow you never fail to surprise me, Jeff... 🤦‍♂️😂
  8. I was reading through the conversation between yourself and Lenny in my general channel. I think it's fair to say at this point he knows me too well! British insults are some of the highest quality insults known to human-kind! Anybody who says otherwise is simply wrong! (That is of course a joke). Oh and by the way, just type into YouTube "British Roadrage" if you really want something to laugh at... 😂
  9. Very interesting concept, but sure. 😂 I have to say, I've never seen one of these out on the streets in the UK before - well; not a police-liveried one anyway. Like I say, interesting concept - but certainly not realistic! I know however, that this was what you intended, so I'm not really sure what to think lol 😂😂
  10. Hello, Thanks for your comment. I had noticed after uploading this that the Ambient Event doesn’t respect the INI. It’s not supposed to because that INI is no longer particularly relevant. That’ll be addressed in the next update. You can disable Ambient Events for the time being because the Stolen Vehicle one has been reworked. If you give the change log a read, you’ll see that the Discord Promotion system has been reworked entirely. Now, if you hit (X - by default) the button to open the Section136Callouts menu, you’ll see a button to join the Discord Server. If you hit that button, Section136Callouts will create a flag in your installation files which say you’ve hit the button, and starting from the next time you go on duty - the popup and that button will no longer appear. Whilst you’re on the invite screen, I’d appreciate if you joined 😂. In summary: • I’m aware of the issues with the INI and am working on fixing that. • Give the changelog a read for information on the updated discord system. Regards, Max
  11. Hi there, glad to hear you're liking the back. Please come over to my Discord Server (https://dsc.gg/maxshangout) as myself and my team don't provide support over the formums. Yes, both of your questions do have answers - although it's just a lot easier to communicate on an Instant Messaging platform. Thank you, Max
  12. I had to reply although this is a very old comment, as a brit with real-life policing experience, it is in fact called a Road Traffic Collision. For the exact reason of - the word "Accident" removes any blame. 👍
  13. Development Update: 19 February 2021 Sorry for my inactivity. I can't lie, I've been quite unmotivated to develop anything at the moment due to other life commitments as well as my mental health has been a little shaky (I don't mind saying that) as well as posting on here has been made - slightly more difficult/inconvenient - for the time being. Nonetheless, I thought I'd make a little update comment on here to tell you what's going on behind the scenes, when I've had the motivation to make changes. As you know, the next version will be 1.0 of the pack, and it'll have officially left the "in development" stages and will be into the "official versions". I know, the pack has already been out for a considerable amount of time (4 months, time flies in a global pandemic - hey?) however it is at the stage where I consider all of the features to have at least laid their track for further expansion. That in no way means I'll be stopping development of the pack, as I've still got lots of ideas - but I will be changing the way I update things, opting for more significant, less often - rather than what I've been doing recently. So, regardless of that - let's have a look at some of the things I've got cooking: New Features • New ambient events! I'll be adding a couple in this update. • A new configuration system. There is a new, (in some places) extremely granular configuration system which uses XML files rather than INI files, as they are natively supported by C# and are less annoying to read. 😂 • A lot of stability updates, optimizations, and fixes. • A couple of re-written callouts for you all to play! I am aware some callouts didn't really work or had immersion-breaking bugs, all of them (that I am aware of, anyway) have been fixed. • New console commands allowing more granular control of some other features, whilst not having to restart your game! Returning Features • The Ambient Event System! The framework has been entirely rewritten and should be a lot more stable! Even from when I wrote it initially, my knowledge of the C# programming language has expanded very obviously, and I often found myself laughing at my old code as I wrote new, more stable code. Over it! • The Stolen Vehicle Ambient Event! This time, featuring less Avengers and random Jetliners spawning and instantly blowing up in front of you! This time, the ambient event will try and "hook" an existing vehicle spawned ambiently by the game to use as the stolen vehicle. Where that fails, the plugin will now spawn a vehicle which is from a set "whitelist" in the configuration files. It's made a lot less confusing by the comments I have left in the configuration files for you to review whilst configuring everything before playing (which I highly recommend you do, as it'll mean you have the most exclusive experience to your taste)! • Functional INI Files! I was made aware late last year of some returning issues with my initialisation files (.ini files) which are used to configure your experience with Section136Callouts. So I re-wrote the entire class used to read INI files, so for the INI files that haven't been replaced by XML counterparts, they will read a lot more stably! If you would like to follow development of this update (and future updates) then I would highly advise you join my Discord Server: https://dsc.gg/maxshangout where I often update members on the progress of my updates. All the best, and I hope you're all keeping well during these very testing times! Max 👍
  14. Hello, LSPDFR Mods: As you will, I know - please move this if it's not in the correct topic. This is the most suitable one I could find, however I may have missed something. If such is the case, my apologies. Excuse the rather long log, I was testing the new version of my callout pack. Although, I have encountered this unusual NullReferenceException from LSPDFR. NullRef's don't come often in terms of LSPDFR (in my experience anyway) and thus I thought I'd forward this to you guys for your use. I don't know if this is an issue with LSPDFR, although it seems to happen (and has done more than once) when I terminate a pursuit where the suspect has been spawned by a plugin. I don't believe this is an issue with my plugin, as: A) I'm not mentioned in the Stack Trace. B) I don't know why it would be (please correct me if i'm wrong) I've attached the log in case it's of use to yourselves. Regards, Max RagePluginHook.log
  15. Thank you very, very much! If you wouldn't mind - I would appreciate it if you left a review on my pack! Just head up to the top of this comments section and select the Reviews tab! Also, if you're interested in the development of the pack, make sure to join my Discord Server! Thank you for your kind words 🙂
  16. You needn't update this file, I forgot to check the `Do not send Update Notification` box whilst updating screenshots/artwork. My apologies.
  17. Hi there, the bot does ping you as you join with instructions to unlock the support channels - you just have to verify by reacting to a message. Nonetheless, thanks for letting me know - and thank you for trying to speak with me on Discord first. Thank you.
  18. Hey @TheWouter Thought I'd let you know of a potential issue in the FleeingSuspect callout. It isn't a massive bug asuch, so I won't bother attaching a log file. Just so you know, your FleeingSuspect callout triggered a Ped with model S_F_Y_COP_01 to spawn. Just be aware that Ped Models used as police officers cannot be stopped using either LSPDFR's native stopping functions, or other mods such as StopThePed, as you'll know. You may want to implement a method which checks the ped's model to ensure that it can be stopped, before notifying the player of the callout! 🙂 Otherwise, loving the pack, looking forward to whatever comes next!
  19. No support is provided here, as it never has been. Please join my support server on Discord: https://discord.gg/3bq88pY Thank you. On this occasion, I will give you a short answer. This is a known issue, because of a bug in LSPDFR. This is through no fault of my own. If you have updated to the latest version of the callout pack (0.0.8.1) you will receive an automatic warning on startup, as this information has been added to the announcement channel, which appears as a notification when you go on duty with the pack installed.
  20. Hey everyone! Just so you know, I am aware there is an issue with the Detainee Transport Required callout. There isn't a whole ton I can do about this, because it's an issue with LSPDFR itself, rather than any of my code. The issue has been forwarded to the LSPDFR Development Team with thanks to PNWParksFan for helping diagnose issues with the code. I cannot fix this issue, it's down to G17 Media, the team who develop LSPDFR to fix this one. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Workarounds: To circumvent this issue, you can either: Disable the Detainee Transport Required callout by changing the following line in the main_config.ini file. Choose not to accept the Detainee Transport Callout when it is offered to you. To disable the callout, open main_config.ini from plugins/lspdfr/Section136Callouts and change 'true' to 'false' in the line you see below. DetaineeTransportRequired = true In the line above, switch out the word 'true' for the word 'false' and save the file. When you next reload LSPDFR, you'll stop getting the Detainee Transport Required callout. Just make sure to re-enable the callout once LSPDFR has an update, because it should start working once again!
  21. You need to update to version 0.0.8.1, the ambient event has been removed pending a rewrite. Thank you.
  22. No I cannot, because I have nothing to go of 😂 I do not provide support here, please join my Discord server at https://discord.gg/3bq88pY and request support in #support-1 or #support-2. Thank you All of these issues have been fixed in the latest update, as the ambient callout in question is understandably annoying and has been removed. Please update.
  23. Fantastic job, Vincent! Will definitely be keeping this installed 😄
  24. Thank you for your comments. I hope you mean a car escort? 😆😂 To suggest a new callout, please join my Discord server: https://discord.gg/3bq88pY
  25. Hey buddy, This is great to see - thank you for featuring my callout pack in your livestream. If you feel like it, I've got a Discord server (https://discord.gg/3bq88pY) which I'm happy for you to advertise your streams in for bigger reach. Join and pop me a DM and we can sort out the details. Got approximately 100 members I believe, however steadily growing! Look forward to hearing from you - and thanks once again! Regards, Max 🙂
