  1. The crashes you have mentioned are *nothing to do with* Section136Callouts. You’re not looking in the right places. If you suspect (for whatever reason) that Ambient Events are causing this, disable them in the configuration file.
  2. RE: Hooker Ambient Event To spawn every hooker at the side of the road, I would have to mess around with entity placement nodes. This is something I do not have the time for, nor the massive determination to do. Realistically, it's not a big deal. You can either turn down the multiplier of the ambient events, or just disable them altogether if you find it to be that much of an issue. RE: Stolen Vehicle Ambient Event This is not my fault. You can blame a certain developer who created the computer mod you're probably using for that one. Thank you. Nonetheless, as you might've seen mentioned in the changelog at the end, I'm working on a new system for ped names. This should help counter this issue. Soon, ComputeLite and STP integrations will be removed altogether in favour of support for a better plugin that is in the development process currently. "Very buggy" is a very bold claim considering how little bug reports I actually receive. Especially so when the crash log you have provided actually has nothing to do with the callout pack, whatsoever. Please, educate yourself on what this means before you go about calling the shots on who's fault it is. Calling a pack "very buggy" can be extremely damaging to the amount of people who download this mod after looking at it; and considering your claim is a complete lie - you should better word things next time. Thank you.
  3. As explained to you on Discord, you should start the plugin at least once to generate a configuration file, and then edit the file at: Plugins\LSPDFR\Section136Callouts\mainconfig.xml You will be able to see your keybinding settings in the <KEYS> section.
  4. Error with the changelog! Sorry, I mistakenly published an unfinished changelog. I'm just waiting on one of the LCPDFR moderators to give the green light to the updated version. Trust me, I wasn't lying when I said there was a lot of changes/fixes/introductions/overhauls. Don't worry, the proper changelog will be live soon!
  5. Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy it. There'll be another update notification in a few minutes with the full changelog. It's a bigger one than it first seemed!
  6. Development Update • 23/06/2021 Just checking in to let you all know that there is a new update on the way. I've just pushed the most substantial feature to the beta testers. They will test it for the next week or so whilst I'm polishing it ready for release. I'm looking at releasing this update by Wednesday 30 June. I can't promise that, although I hope to be able to. Keep safe! - Max
  7. Hi there, Firstly - thank you for your kind words. I appreciate comments like this. With regards to the issues you've been having I cannot really do anything about it without the appropriate logging data. I need your RagePluginHook.log file, and your Section136Callouts.log file from Plugins\LSPDFR\Section136Callouts. It would be best (for the sake of responding faster) if you joined my Discord Server, where one of the team can run you through this if you need help, but otherwise feel free to post these files here and I'll get back to you when I can. Note however that my responses on the forums are slower than on Discord. Many thanks, Max
  8. Hello, As detailed in the popup box you received, you must update RageNativeUI in order to play Section136Callouts. This often happens after installing Ultimate Backup or StopThePed, as the version of the library bundled with these plugins is extremely old. Section136Callouts is very much compatible with StopThePed and UltimateBackup, although you must update RageNativeUI to the latest version before trying to play. You can download RageNativeUI from https://github.com/alexguirre/ragenativeui/releases, or by selecting "Yes" (Sí) on the notification when it appears. If you don't dismiss the notification within about 20 seconds, LSPDFR is likely to kill the thread - causing that exception. I hope this helps, and if you need any additional assistance please don't hesitate to give my support team a shout in my Discord Server: https://dsc.gg/maxshangout. Many thanks, Max
  9. Disable it then. My comments section is no place for debating whether COVID exists or not. It quite clearly does, so therefore I’ll be forwarding your message to the LCPDFR moderation team. Kind regards, Max
  10. This crash was caused by Regular Callouts. Regular Callouts crashed LSPDFR, and LSPDFR forced the logging service inside of Section136Callouts to stop. This is what caused that message. Thank you for checking though. You should report this bug to the developer of Regular Callouts.
  11. Enjoy, bro! Glad I could help 🙂
  12. Cheers buddy! Sorry to keep you all waiting 😉 Why shouldn't there be a COVID callout? If you don't want to play it - feel free to disable it in: Plugins\LSPDFR\Section136Callouts\main_config.ini The Self Isolation Violation is actually quite realistic, based on the UK COVID legislative procedures. Please try to disable Ambient Events. You can do so by opening the following file: Plugins\LSDPFR\Section136Callouts\AmbientEvents.ini And changing the EnableAmbientEvents value to it shows as below: [AmbientEvents] EnableAmbientEvents = false Hey, This crash is being caused by RegularCallouts. Please post your log over on the Regular Callouts page found below: Thank you 🙂
  13. I mean I might be biased, but I think this callout pack is quite good: Other packs I've tried: https://www.bejoijo.com/post/attempted-crime-callouts ⚠ Use an ad-blocker on this site. I hope this helps 👊
  14. Make sure to re-enable your Antivirus else you expose your PC to Viruses. Add your GTA V folder as an AV Exception to sort this in the long term.
  15. Thank you Charlie. I'm sure I highlighted Arrest Manager, but maybe not! 😂 It's been a while since I've been in the support game. Thanks for adding these 😉
  16. This crash was caused by PoliceSmartRadio, a now unsupported plugin developed by Albo1125. Given this plugin has not been supported since LSPDFR 0.4.6, it is recommended that you now remove it from your game. There is some good alternatives, such as StopThePed/UltimateBackup by Bejoijo (you'll have to navigate to his website to download these; although it's advisable to use an AdBlocker if you do so) and a new upcoming project that sEbi3 is working on, called Better Interactions. I've highlighted below in BOLD TEXT the plugins you should probably remove to stabilize your LSPDFR experience. I hope this helps you at least somewhat! Have a good day 👊
  17. As Rich said, a CAD plugin is very ambitious. Do you have any prior C#/VB.NET/C++ experience? (Note: it's recommended you learn C# if you need to learn a language for the purposes of plugin development. Whilst many developers in the community also use C++ for their other projects, the vast majority use C# for the purposes for developing RPH/LSPDFR plugins) Perhaps start with creating a few basic callouts using the LSPDFR API before moving on to something more drastic such as a CAD plugin? There's a promising-looking CAD plugin in development at the moment, you can see it here.
  18. Providing you've got all of the correct redistributables and dependencies installed, there is absolutely no reason why Windows 8 would cause any sort of issues. Try not to base your conclusion off personal experience in this case, because it could have been an issue elsewhere on your PC (such as with your installation of the C++ redist, for example) which was leading to issue.
  19. Using Windows 8 will cause no problems whatsoever 99.99% of the time. Just saying 🙂 @Charlie686 has already highlighted some issues with your installation. That said, you should understand that sometimes, GTA V will crash. Not only is that the nature of most games (and software in general) but you also have to consider that GTA V was not built with modding in mind, and therefore adding so much stuff to it (whether that be plugins, mods folder resources, or otherwise) will cause it to become more unstable. As some advice, I would recommend upgrading at least the amount of RAM you have to a minimum of 16GB. You would honestly be surprised how much of an impact extra memory can make to a game like GTA V. 🙂 Hope you get it all sorted! ✌
  20. Using Windows 8 will cause no problems whatsoever 99.99% of the time. Just saying 🙂
  21. I thought such might’ve been the case. Thank you for confirming.
  22. The study is opt-in, for all data, I do believe. There might be some collected otherwise, I'm not sure - I didn't really read that much into it. I don't play all that often, but I sure spend a fair bit of time debugging so I opted in. That said, I don't think people who "fuck about" per se will have opted in. A lot of people don't even read these new version announcements, and are likely none the wiser. The research has hardly been promoted all that much, so yeah - I wouldn't worry. 🙂
