  4. FINALLY FIXED!!! I downloaded a program called AIO RUNTIMES, it downloads and installs all files and programs that are missing in Windows. Apparently my directx was having issues either because something was missing, or something was corrupted. Anyways, the program downloaded the directx files I was missing and now RAGE launches and works flawlessly. Funny thing is that Directx didn't show any problems until I installed RAGE. Also, my computer has been working flawlessly in other games, and when I tried reinstalling directx it said that it was already installed. I dont know what caused the issue. Im just glad its fixed now.
  5. After more trial and error and more research it definately looks like Rage crashes my DirectX for whatever reason. I also found MANYY people with the same problem on this forum but no one answered them. Is there really not a fix for this?
  6. What setting exactly am I looking for? I dont have anything ticked in the Advanced settings and only have force window mode ticked in gameplay settings. However, it makes sense, rage works when I click on disable directx hook. That makes me believe it conflicts with my directx maybe? Idk, its a wild guess and idk how that could be fixed. i really appreciate your help.
  7. Neither do I. Thank you for trying though and I hope someone is able to help. There must be something. I just wanna play 😕

  9. I've done all of those steps over 10 times at this point. I have new computer, so the GTA V install is as clean as it is. The files were all verified on steam. I watched a tutorial on how to manually install LSPDFR and then installed the newest version of RAGE on top of it. The plugin timeout is already 60000. Force windowed, force DX11 are both ticked. Anti-Virus exceptions have been made and I have tried doing this whole process with it deactivated. I downloaded all of the Microsoft thingys cited in the requirements tab in the RAGE website. Still the same outcome. Vanilla GTA V works flawlessly and I can boot with RAGE if I disable directx hook; however, LSPDFR doesn't work if I tick that. I genuinely don't know what else to try, it feels like I have tried everything. I appreciate the help though, and please don't give up on trying to help. It's been days of me trying to get it to work and nothing.

  11. RagePluginHook.log Hi, I installed LSPDFR first then the newest version of RPH. I also discovered that if I disable directx hook it kinda works. I have directx 12, is that a problem?
  12. Can someone help? I'm literally the only thread on the front page with no replies 😕
  13. Rage is crashing on startup, Vanilla game works flawlessly. Ive tried everything from adding an exception to the antivirus to disabling it completely. This is a clean install, Ive reinstalled a million times at this point. Help is very much appreciated. RagePluginHook_05042019_022313.log
