Flightkick reacted to taxi44 in Why not open source LSPDFR?LSPDFR hasn't seen an update in over a year. I've been told it's still being worked on, so I'll accept that as true, but nevertheless, it seems clear that whatever is being done is taking a very long time.
My question is, why not open source it on GitHub? People could contribute, submit pull requests, then all the developers would need to do is test the new code. Development could proceed much faster. Since LSPDFR is already free of charge, I don't see any downside to releasing the source.
