You do only have Defender or do you have another Anti-Virus software? Also make sure you do not have an editor or something opened GTA V files.

File locked by another process Exclude your GTA V folder in your Anti-virus as a whole. In your AV software it is usually called "Exceptions" or "Trust zone".

I've seen some AV software uses permission stuff to intercept file interactions instead of locking that file. Try to exclude the folder, and make sure you do not edit things with administrator permissions, and keep your UAC on.

Check your Pause Menu -> LSPDFR tab. Does it work?

Still looks Crashed to Desktop to me. Rename startup.rphs to _startup, and then start the game via RPH, manually load LSPDFR. Did it crash? (Do not load other plugins).

Use a file system watcher. You'll need to watch the EUP character folder and only change the eye color, and when you save your character did it gets written? Alternatively, you can hash that file (using SHA-256), then edit your character and only change eye color, after that hash the file again. Are two hashes same? Also check the character file.

The plugin loads up correctly. Did it remain in the black screen? I suspect that you may need to fade screen in manually.

Well, this may beyond the ability of third-party supporting. I suggest you to find the author of such plugin for support. They would usually have an issue tracker (for FLOSS plugins) or a discord (mostly if proprietary).

Adding additional pathfinding nodes is not supported, as LSPDFR manages its own system so unless you can somehow edit LSPDFR AI data (doubt it legitimate though) otherwise you'll have to stick to R* vanilla path nodes. You may complain to the author of the mod about it does not support LSPDFR (since it adds path-nodes), but I doubt that would have any effect.

Do you have DirectX runtime and DirectPlay enabled? Just for sure.

Did the game crashed on startup, or a popup saying that LSPD First Response has crashed? Either case, upload your RagePluginHook.log. It can be found in the same folder as of GTA5.exe.

Because the supporters assume they are "unstable" and asks you to replace with proprietary "stable" plugins. However, there are really no API behavior or breaking changes that could really impact these. I assume they would break / became really unstable if 0.5 was ever released. However, if you experience difficulties, or problems nobody will fix it - Albo isn't working for SP anymore (he only makes FiveM things now), and you'll have to find a fork or replace it if you experience problems.

I don't think so, as these are only two I can find in the logs.
