Are you sure they are the ones actually causing the crash? Hardy sound mods crash the game. Are you installing them for FiveM or SinglePlayer? -
For anyone wondering, it caused by a GTA V limitation for which the vehicles.awc file cannot exceed 16,132KB in size. It will cause muted game files. To fix it, try installing this:

Realistic LAPD Siren for GTA 5 Singleplayer & FiveM I've been trying to find a good quality and realistic siren for my Los Angeles based LSPDFR for a while. Even though there are a lot of LAPD sirens out there, after hours of testing them one by one, I just couldn't get satisfied with any of them. So I decided, why not trying to make one by myself? I extracted the tones from those real LAPD response videos on YouTube, then edited them to make them sound louder and less disturbed. Gotta keep it realistic, man. If you still don't believe that this siren sounds amazing, here's a DEMO VIDEO for you (it's even in 4K!) ⚠️ WARNING! If you experience muted vehicle sounds after downloading my siren, please be aware that this is NOT caused by my mod, but it is a GTA 5 limitation itself, for which the vehicles.awc file, located in your RESIDENT.rpf, cannot exceed 16,132 KB in size. Why is this happening? After installing custom sounds (for example this siren), the vehicles.awc file size will increase, and, especially if you have already installed other custom sounds, this size may possibily go over the limit imposed by the game developers, thus causing muted sounds. How do I fix this? Simply install this below. This is actually a really common issue when installing custom sounds, so you can also find lots of information and help online. Oh, and if for some reason you can't successfully install a siren into your game in 2022, well, I tought about you: the installation instructions are located in the README.txt file. LAPD Federal Signal Smart Siren FiveM Ready Here's my version of the LAPD siren, not really sure the exact model name but I think it's more like a Federal Signal SS2000SM. I took the files from a GTA San Andreas mod and then adjusted the pitch and the volume. Tones: Wail Yelp Airhorn Priority tone is not included since LAPD doesn't use it. It was already set. I'm the only user on the PC. I've noticed that in the security tab, It won't let me put a checkmark in the last voice "Special Authorizations" as you can see from the picture. Is it supposed to be like that? (You can't see it from the picture, but I have all checkmarks in SYSTEM, Administration and my user except for the last one "Special Authorizations")

Hello. My game was working fine until a few days ago, but now, at the end of the loading screen to get to the story mode, I get an message saying LSPDFR has crashed, while other plugins I have, such as Cop Holster, EUP Menu, Sticky Wheels etc. all loads correctly. Reloading LSPDFR through the RPH Console doesn't work either: it will crash and show on the bottom right of the screen a "loading LSPDFR" icon spinning endlessly. Also, don't know if it's related or not, but when my character is loading into the map, after LSPDFR has already crashed, I can see my custom LSPDFR character with green hair (?) for like 1 second, before the games loads me as Michael. It never did that. Moreover, I was bored because LSPDFR didn't work so I started a shootout and noticed that all the cops showed up with the same car and some cops had a weird uniform: I installed a bit ago LAPD ai peds, which have the standard black top with a black tie, green taser, LAPD badge etc. As I was saying, some cops don't have the tie or the badge, while some do. This is weird because I always saw them with the same uniform. Again, I don't know if this is related to the problem, but I just noticed these 2 things that are out of the ordinary, and maybe they could help you. I'm not an expert, but looking at the RPH log, 2 things caught my attention: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION DURING GAME FIBER TICK and Exception type: System.UnauthorizedAccessException Exception message: Access to the path 'D:\Program Files\Epic Games\GTAV\lspdfr\patterns.tmp' is denied. For the 2nd error, I've looked at that path, but I don't have a "patterns.tmp" file, I have "patterns.dat". Does it mean something? I have the latest version of GTA V (1.0.2060.1) and RagePluginHook (1.81.1410.16064). Also, reading on other topics about this problem, I've tried to: rename the "mods" folder to "_mods" and launch the game disable/create an exception for GTA V on my antivirus and firewall set my RPH timeout threshold to 60000 reinstall LSPDFR None of them solved my problem.
