  1. Thought I'd seen it.. had me doubting my sanity even more than usual. Aussie.
  2. His policing tools mod? Didn't he recently release an update explaining that he's adding new features to it before re-release? Aussie.
  3. Bobby, as stated in the description, to spawn it black, you need to either use Simple Native Trainer or edit your carcols file with the line I included. Thanks.
  4. I have to agree with F5544 on this one, the domes aren't the same as Schaefft's and the rotators are also different to Lt. Caine's. It's a hard one to be perfectly honest, when people release the same or similar light-bars people are going to say they are someone else's, that's the nature of open-source modding. Aussie.
  5. "THE WHELEN WAS HIGH WHEN I NAMED THIS"
  6. Just download it from LCPDFR.com it's in the developers area on the downloads section. Aussie.
  7. That is personally something I'd never have thought of being that I just watch the show and enjoy it, while I know they are from Canada, I never thought to do Canadian plates. Once liveries are set up I will include the ability to directly change the plates and add a front plate as well as at this stage, it only has the rear plate.
  8. @Sheriff Van Dyck Not as yet, working on getting it mapped to ELS, until that time no skin support.
  9. Well for anyone interested in my SUV here is the link. Aussie.

Was approached by a few people about my Landstalker SUV replacement for the polpatriot slot that I've been working on so I've decided to release a first version of it. This car is my first released mod so please comment away. I'm looking for an experienced texture mapper to create a template for the vehicle to enable skinning as I am unable to do this successfully as of yet. The vehicle was an attempt of mine at creating a Flashpoint styled SUV in GTAIV, however I used the Landstalker due to not having access to an unlocked Suburban or Tahoe. The car will spawn in with the default Noose patriot colours unless you modify your carcols.dat polpatriot line as follows: polpatriot, 0,0,8, Credits - Landstalker model - Rockstar Games Whelen Avenger - EVI Code3 XT6 Rear Advisor - BxBugs123 (modified slightly by me) Quadraflare Lights - SSanchez GoRhino Rambar - BxBugs123 (modified slightly by me) If I have missed anything out, please feel free to ask. The screenshots attached were taken using Game4Video's ENB from here. The car has been tested extensively in singleplayer without any crashing however if you experience crashing with the vehicle please let me know with the message you received. This model is released locked, please do not attempt to unlock the file for any reason as there are components within the model that are not mine.
  11. Borderlands 2? Torchlight 2? Just suggestions. Aussie.
  12. Any chance of the default ambulance and the coordinates? Or did I miss them in the post? Thanks regardless. Aussie.
  13. Uniforms look slightly different too :S Not a good sign lol. Aussie.
  14. You need to modify your pedvariations so that only specific models spawn on peds. Aussie.
  15. Just a suggestion that's not actually anything to do with helping in GIMP as I don't use it, but post shots of the skin on the vehicle, hard to tell what we're actually looking at if it's just a png template. Aussie.
  16. There are two known causes for the shaking screen and cutting out engine. 1: You're using a cracked copy, if that is the case, please piss off and buy the game. 2: You're not running the game via LaunchGTAIV.exe, if that is the case, run it from LaunchGTAIV.exe Aussie.
  17. Ok well as nobody made any suggestions for the Landstalker I went ahead and added in the secondaries and WAG/TKD's. Brief 5 minute video of the model and a call to anyone wanting to test the model (will be locked due to the model containing unlocked models from other community members) for me in their game and give me direct feedback, drop me a PM if you would like to test it, bear in mind as stated in the video I'm still working on getting it skinnable, it currently spawns with the Noose polpatriot colours as default (changable to solid colouring with the SNT). Also credits even though it's not final release (but is available if people want to test and give feedback). Model - Landstalker by Rockstar Games Whelen Avenger - EVI/ThinBlueLine Whelen Inner Edge and Code 3 XT6 - BxBugs123 Quadraflare - SSanchez I am also posting these updates in this thread as this is my attempt at creating a Flashpoint SRU style SUV (as stated, Landstalker model used due to lack of Suburban unlocked models), if people would prefer I do not post them in here, please say so and I will create my own thread instead. Aussie.
  18. You've likely reinstalled everything and copied files across, try doing a reinstall of your LCPDFR using the installer instead of from a backup. Aussie.
  19. Check everywhere in the model heirarchy, there MUST be a second/third copy of it for zmodeler to tell you that. Check sub-sections in the hierarchy and check that no parts from the model (if a standard GTA model) exist with that name. As for the ELS tutorial, it's called the pause button, I learnt from the GPM tutorial, pause and rewatch sections to see the things that are done. Aussie.
  20. Put in a backup of your vehicles.ide into commondata Aussie.
  21. Just download a free photo editing tool like Paint.net or GIMP etc. MS Paint + GTAIV.. ugh.. Aussie.
  22. Just what I've been working on, which Tom H tried to help me with. It's not the Suburban, as there's no unlocked Suburban's around. I'm pretty happy with it, despite it not being finished yet. Feel free to comment on the car either here or on the video itself, or don't, your call. Aussie.
  23. Whenever you load a model into your zmodeler that doesn't have a texture existing, it will break your zmodeler materials editor, I've found that if I find the line in the materials editor for the specific texture, I can change that line to the existing one. So for instance, load up the model etc, tells you there is a texture missing, jump into the materials editor and look for the material with the missing texture and assign the one you already have. Then just map it like you normally would. Hope this isn't too confusing, I'm still learning myself so apologies. Someone else may be able to explain it better. Aussie.
  24. Personally all I do is import the new texture with a 1 or 2 at the end of the filename, then update the materials to use that texture. The downside of doing that however is having to import both textures into the wtd when you're ready for running it on the game. Another way you can do it, is keep the old texture, import the model in and then modify your UV-Mapping so that the texture lines up correctly with the components of the new model. Aussie.
