A list of what works and what doesn't with LSPDFR 0.4. Feel free to add.
Adding cars to GTA 5 is not that easy. The best way imo is to use albos modding dlc. I have about 30 police add-ons with his mod

Performance Issues
Can confirm that these settings added to the ini will allow a heavily modded gta to load with vanilla lspfr .4 and go on duty without texture loss. My gta game folder is about 200 gb. Natural vision, redux, els, and many other scripts all working without texture loss. Only tried basic on duty tasks such as traffic stops and not callouts. No other callout plugins or any other .4 api plugins loaded yet.

Performance Issues
I just tried developer mode suggestion above. Prior to change I had complete texture loss. After change it seems the roads are loading now and few buildings. This is heavily modded gta with vanilla lspdfr .4 (manual install no other plugins). Gta loads heavily modded with vanilla lspdfr .4 off duty. Els cars and textures load and function. As soon as I go on duty textures disappear after driving or walking farther than a block. Normal fps for such a heavily mod game I run (30-50 fps) even after textures disappear. I played through without heavily modded game first and created character. Quit the game normally. Then preloaded lspdfr through rage. Game starts as lspdfr character in uniform doing random events (first time seeing that which is cool lol). Tried same process with mods folder activated and texture loss happens. my specs are i9 7900 gtx 1080ti 16gb ram 500gb m.2 ssd

Performance Issues
I have i9 7900 and 1080ti with 16gb ram. With a heavy modded lspdfr .4 I have texture popping as well. Only after going on duty do textures disappear though. I can still drive around and then it eventually crashes. Lspdfr works fine with no texture/graphic mods and vanilla cars. To add I can use reshade and enb with minimal issues. I have a heavily modded lspdfr .3 with added police cars graphic mods scripts plugins etc and it runs 30-50 fps in 4k. For perspective my GTA folder with lspdfr .3 is 200+ gb. I can run that with minimal crashing. But lspdfr .4 isn't playing nice with my system

Configuator and Rage hook on 0.4 not working!
What worked for me was a vanilla copy of GTA. I keep a vanilla copy as a backup so I don't have to redownload it. I copy the manual lspdfr .4 to the folder. I start the game normally to make sure it loads up. I quit the game and then I copy ragehook, overwriting everything. The only way I can get rage to load is I have to start GTA first. After social club logs in and GTA loads (intro movie and legal screen plays) I have to alt tab out and load rage. After you copy everything, what is your process for opening the game?

What is your installation process? Do you have a clean install of GTA 5? Did you manually install .4 and then copy over files with rage files?

I had the same issue once. I think what worked for me is I pasted again advancehook.dll into the main folder. But then again, I've reinstalled lspdfr and mods to vanilla gta files so many times. It could be have something else that fixed els lol. It seems like 0.4 messes with the keybindings of some mods and plugins. I've noticed here and there that I'll have to press keys a few times before it works.

Texture loss
I have an i9 and 1080ti and still have texture pop. Only if I have redux installed while going on duty though.

Only way I've ever got rage to load is to start GTA then tab out or quickly launch rage before GTA loads, even before 0.4. Also I copied my entire mods folder as well. GTA runs no issues. Have redux 1.6, natural vision, visual v, radiance, els etc. Runs no issues. At least until I go on duty then get texture pop. Haven't tried the preload model method. Do you have advance hook.dll in your main folder?
