Just a heads up for anyone who had crashing using an Xbox Controller: I plugged my xbox controller into my xbox and turned out it needed a firmware update. I also found out that if I tried to load the game while the controller was plugged in, it would crash before I could even get into the game. That was even with a clean install, 4.2, and the latest Rage Plugin. What I found worked was, I loaded the game first, then connected my xbox controller and that seemed to work. Not sure what it is but my Xbox One Controller (old and new One X controllers - both firmware updated), just do not play nice when you're trying to load 4.2 while they're connected initially. Hope this helps for those who were in my same shoes.

I downloaded a fresh copy of GTA, installed .4.1 with the latest Rageplugin… Crashes within 30 seconds of loading into the game.
