  2. Nvidia Geforce• GT 240M Cuda™ 1GB
  3. @flambe: with 1 it doesn't work, i tried only Dsound and oonly Xlive. but the game then doesn't start. when i have both, it start's and i can start playing. i haven't updated my video card drive, but i use a laptop, is it possible on a laptop? thanks
  4. i removed, the safefiles, and it works now. but i do need both xlive and Dsound. a thing that's strange, when playing gta, the screen is in black&white. any ideas how to fix that? i have ELS v.6 enabled and have put in the visualdats for 1.0.7.0(afterwards). thanks.
  5. sorry, i'm pretty new so i'm still figuring out what is were(with the buttons). i ran the medai diagnostics: BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.0.0 Build: 7600) Service Pack: System RAM (GB): 4 CPU cores: 2 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 7, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: True GTA IV - Asi loader: DSOUND GTA IV - Asi loader valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True End of *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Digital signature: TfG6VQNw3F1dcHxnmaNgDg== i tried it as administrator and not. i see a small black screen, that then fades away, and nothing happens.
  6. Quick update: i got the gta iv media diagnostics. i pressed start but after he searched lcpdfr(installation etc.) it crashed.
  7. yes i played the first mission, i'm at "it's your call". the link in the NEED SUPPORT? desription(look below) "- Run a diagnostic report (found here: http://www.lcpdfr.co...efore-you-post/) which will point any errors it can find and will be used later on if you need to post a topic"
  8. after it's loading the game it fails(loading<insert mission>...) i have tried almost everything. installed lcpdfr with Dsound, unistalled, re-installed with xlive. downloaded and installed .net framework 4 and c++ redistributable. used different scripthooks(dotnet,0.5.1,) different xlive's and different Dsounds(both together as separate). i tried to run the diagnostic report, but when i try to go there, it gives a 404 error. i really don't know what to do anymore. if anyone could help that would be much appreciated. 1 thing i should note, i use a laptop, wich was sent back 4 weeks ago because it had a malfunction. before i had sent it, lcpd:fr worked. know, i did exactly the same and it doesn't work, my guess would be the fact that the "read only button" isn't checked but completely filled in. the read only mark comes back every time i "uncheck" it. could that be it? Thanks in Advance, -Cyrus5
