Although people may consider what the US Government is doing to be offensive, it is certainly not a human rights issue. The Syrian Regime gassing its own people to death, and murdering thousands of innocent people is a human rights issue. African Warlords torturing and killing villagers is a human rights issue. Some guy sitting in front of a computer screen looking at a some persons call records is certainly not a human rights offense.

The United States government cannot and does not look into your emails and listen in on your calls. They must have warrants to do so. Even if they do, who cares? What could you be talking about that is so private that some guy hundreds and thousands of miles away will listen too? I just don't understand.. Because then, when the security is loosened and a terror attack occurs because of less monitoring and security, then the same damn people will be complaining about the lack of security anymore

Read this on a website, forgot which one. It will be martial law and a police state, when police are carpet bombing a crack house, and lining up civilians on the sides of the road by the hundreds and executing them.
