My fix, before this, was hitting 0 on the number pad for menus that accepted that, but otherwise hitting backspace.

Kept accidentally knocking out pedestrians and killing them, then having to call an ambulance and coroner, all while feeling like a complete idiot. As the NPCs stood there judging me and taking pictures on there smartphones... 😞

This mod can stop you from accidentally hitting or killing your suspect when trying to back out menus with B or O on whatever controller you're using. I can say this mod is working, i've been playing with it for at least 2 hours.
