vehicle packs request
umm that wasn't exactly why i was asking nor was i asking for already made vehicles. I also wasn't asking for myself. I wanted to see a pack made like it was with a lot of vehicles in the days of gta sa but for gta 5. meaning there was a couple of different packs made for gta sa which had a whole lot of vehicles in them. everything right down to a golf cart and such but these were emergency vehicles. my request was to bring that kind of pack into a gta 5 game instead of sa. i guess you could say converting them maybe.

vehicle packs request
I was wondering if someone could make a pack for the police vehicles in gta v and also a fire pack for the fire vehicles in gta v as well. I would like to see cvpi, caprice, charger, challenger, ford fpis or chevy fpis, tahoe, suburban, and the Chevy express and coroner as well as the prisoner transport for the police and maybe crime scene unit and esu and also a command center vehicle truck or bus and even a heli or two. the fire pack would include mtl, Peirce and some other fire apparatus and also tiller or platform ladder trucks as well as fire chief and maybe tanker truck for brush. these vehicles would include extras such as different lightbars/lighting equipment and even different equipment to go with lspdfr. code3 variants, federal signal variants, whelen variants and all the rotator variants of each brand for the lightbars. els/nonels for compatibility. different color lights too red/blue blue/blue red/red yellow, white, green for christmas time and purple as some departments use that color. this pack would really be good as it would have different liveries as well for each area.

OK. I was wondering though if i should take the carvariations extract it from the game and then copy and paste the info inside the file he provided then change it? I mean i could do either or but I know that someone said changing the settings inside the file.

I am trying to add various car mods to my game however I did state in another topic that I am having some issues with getting the one mod to install right. when i use the lights on the firetruck the textures distort and i have even tried to use different textures for the same firetruck still the same result. my problem is someone said the siren settings need to be adjusted. but to what setting and about the light what setting do i put them at as well. I was trying to put the nonels version of pimdslrs firetruck into the game and i even did as the readme said to but the lights still distort when used on the vehicle in game as if there is something not right about the model itself or something. i have the info from the carvariations file he provided but i am not sure what to do with it. there already is one in the place he said to replace it with . I was wondering if i should copy and paste the info into the current one or extract it then make changes and drag it back into the game using open iv. also the siren settings are at 7 in his file but so are the lights as well.

i tried that already it is still causing issues. the lights distort when in use it doesn't look like it should on the firetruck the general texture is OK just when the lights are used the texture distorts. i was wondering if I should use the same settings as the original file but use the light settings that are 22 instead of 7.

OK exactly where and how do i do that? Instal carvariations.meta in: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpluxe/dlc.rpf/common/data and replace the file. now I know how to edit the .meta files i figured that one out but I am still not sure what to adjust or where or by what means. i was wondering if I should copy and paste the info inside the one the mod has and add it down at the bottom of the original carvariations inside mpluxe. I extracted that file onto the desktop. the problem is there is no firetruck when i searched for it inside the original file inside mpluxe.

I tried to use another texture but the problem only occurs when i turn the lights on with the lightbar distorting and the side lights doing the same and even the front flashers. like i said i dont know what the problem is. i have els installed but i dont think that would make much of a difference.

Pierce LAFD Firetruck By PimDSLR
nice vehicle except i am having difficulties installing it and getting the textures to work right not sure what the problem is right now. i installed the vehicle files and the carvariations file just like it said but the problem is the lights get wonky when i use them like the texture isn't right or something. i tried editing the siren and light settings to 7 but no go . i still don't know what i am doing wrong with this model. i can try the ambulance but i would like some support on this issue. I feel as though there is some work needed.

exactly what am i looking for though? i mean is there a specific line or text? i am really not sure how to edit these files so everything works in the game is there a tutorial on each file to edit them once you have replaced them inside openiv? i found something on it but I am not sure if that fixes the issue. i would like some more help on this. it came with a carvariations file. by weird I mean when using the lights in game it doesnt work right. like i have noticed on some vehicles if i put them in replacement for the wrong vehicle such as the police the lightbars texture gets weird when using it in terms of a rotator in place of a flasher. pimdslr both his fire and ambulance vehicles have this issue both versions even the els ones have it. I have tried to install in game correctly but when i spawn them and use the lights they dont work the way they should. the lightbar and flashers texture isnt right or something. what I am noticing is if i put a rotator version copcar to replace a flasher copcar the lightbar gets weird. but when i replace the firetruck with his one the lightbar still has issues even though its the right slot and all.

I am having some trouble with installing this mod correctly. i am putting the files in the right place however the lights when i use the truck go all wonky on me. I dont know if there was supposed to be something else done or what? I have tried contacting pim myself but he hasn't responded. I have els installed and improved lighting pattern and realistic emergency lighting. still the firetruck acts weird. i get it was a work in progress but is there a texture or something which needs adjustment?

I need some help. I was wondering if anyone could guide me or direct me to the tutorial or mods to help me add vehicles to gta 5. I can replace them no problem but I am not sure how to add extras. could someone please help me thanks?

rotator packs
I was wondering if someone could do a full police car pack which would use older style rotator els lightbars with full working parts. intersection sweepers and suck this way it is realistic for the game. this pack would feature different rotator lightbars as extras with a vehicles and carcols and carvariations files so the extras spawn right. also there could be a special els version of each lightbar which has strobes in place of the rotators inside the lightbar. some older bars use strobes in place of the rotator and it works if it is done right.

specail themed police and such
I had some ideas for different vehicle mods. one was to use purple for the lightbar lights. another was to have a christmas theme cvpi with green lights on the lightbar and red for the back traffic advisor and a santa sleigh livery based skin for the sheriff.

swat/noose/military callouts
I have noticed that not many callouts are used in each of these mods for lspdfr. I was wondering if someone out there would look into this and try to come up with some more really unique callouts for each of these mods. I dont think noose even has one but if someone wants to try making a callout mod for them that might be good.

actually a couple of ideas would be strobes that act like rotators which is more common now for a police lightbar different variants. then there are the vectior ones whcih i never understood much. they have rotators and the white ones in between the main ones have flashers in the front and intersection ones in the back and either a rotator in the center or a oscilating one they are white. really unique patterns for those lightbars. actually a nice option would be for any emergency vehicle to have flashers for the headlights and taillights in red/red red/blue blue/blue for front and rear. knightrider did something like that one time it was neat the headlights were flashing a different color.
