I found my issue. I started noticing stutters in my vanilla game when playing gta online, and i realised i forgot to take out xinput.dll. As soon as i took that out, the game was buttery smooth again. Unfortunately though, RAGE requires xinput. And thanks for the reply ill for sure try it.

I decided to download LSPDFR today, I've been playing GTA 5 for about a year now, and i have never had any stutters at all. After i noticed the problem i removed LSPDFR to see if Rage was the problem, and after i removed it the game returned to being smooth. The stuttering is worse when I play with keyboard and mouse then it is with controller, and I'm not using any other mods like extra callouts or vehicles, just LSPDFR, Rage, and Menyoo. My guess is all the scripts bogging down the CPU? I have an i5 7600k which only has 4 cores so that has crossed my mind. But at the same time like I said with controller it's just tiny micro stutters, and with keyboards it's actual FPS dip stuttering. Does anybody know why this is happening? Is it new to this version? Any help would be greatly appreciated..
