I would take a look at the original road files; you can learn a lot from the files that R* made :D But personally; I do not know how to make road textures.

Well that changes things :D I would make sure you have everything installed that you need to run GTA; and maybe just update your .net framework etc. (if you are on windows)

Have you checked for scratches? I'll give you a little secret of mine that I use: Take a piece of toilet paper (or whatever you prefer to call it) and make it damp; then wipe the disc in a circular motion around the whole disk. Wait a second without drying the water off; and then taking a dry piece of toilet paper and wipe of the water in an outwards motion from the center of the disk to the edge. Try this; usually it always works for me unless the disc is severely damaged.

LOL What's with the attitude? On here we forbid talk of cracked games and torrents. Technically, since the files are copyrighted to rockstar; giving you the files would break copyright laws. I'm sorry; but if you need the files; you need to reinstall. This is why in almost every mod's README file; it says BACKUP your files. This is the reason why.

Hey guys; I posted this on GPM; but have had no luck. Maybe you guys will have more luck! Long story short; I had to reinstall windows and wipe my hard drive; and I used to have some black and white police uniforms; but cannot find the download link. I downloaded it from a site; but cannot find the site. Hopefully someone knows and/or has or knows the download link. Thanks!

I didn't ask for yours; because at the time I did not know that the slicktop was a "custom" (personal) mod. I think this is getting a little misunderstood now.

Ya I do think most people where obviously very used to the Up/Down Selection system; but I definitely do prefer ENTER for finalizing your choices.

Listen everyone; I was not being "hostile" as you say. I stated he was acting like an ass because I asked him about the name and/or link to the car mod, not the skin; and said, and I quote: "GTAPoliceMods.com had it. I love how it is enter now; just a personal preference. My big problem is that I keep pressing F10 for police pursuit backup; and end up calling multiple helicopters to assist to the pursuit. Next thing you know their are ten spotlights looking around on the ground. Fail.

The only reason why I made a thread is because 1.) You told me to ask the forums, and 2.) You couldn't help me. You don't have to act like an a** about something that you told me to do.

And I also already know GPM has gone down recently and modders are in the process of reuploading their mods at the moment, so I haven't been able to find it. Unless you live under a rock; you most likely know that GPM has been down for quite some time now; probably close to 2-4 weeks. Scott Daedaelus; the owner/founder of GPM (and also the newly reinstated director; replacing Brant Marshall) has just announced that GPM is back up and running. Now before you go crazy that it is up and you think "OMG I AM GONNA GO DOWNLOADZ SOMEZ MOREZ MODZ FOR GTA"; please read the following. The site has JUST been put back online. Please do not rush to log in; as the server can only take so many people logging in/visitng the site at one time.GPM was moved to a new server because of a severe storm hitting the datacenter in Ohio (US); and the company that owns the server was very, very unhelpful in returning service; as the longer everyone was down, they got more insurance money. What money makes people do!DO NOT spam the staff yelling at them for not getting the site up fast enough. GPM is almost two trillion bites in size, now try to imagine uploading that.Some posts may not be recovered; as the returned version of the site was an earlier version because they had the opportunity during this downtime to fix some of the issues GPM had been having before the crash. Make sure to have fun, and go download some mods we have been all waiting for!Also; I would wait a day or two so you can ensure that the site is fully up and running and you are not stuck with getting busy errors every two seconds. Hey guys; Have a question. I am currently working on some skins, and I plan to release them publicly. I have only completed a skin for the FCV, but I will be making more skins for other cars. (if you want a skin made for a certain car, let me know) I would test them myself, but for some reason my GTA is not working ATM; and I currently working out what is wrong.
