[ELS] San Andreas Highway Patrol Pack (FHP)
While I'm not 100% sure what causes this, it could be caused by one of two things. First, I use the following flags on each handling line: Model: 44000010 The two extra 4s on the left side enable the MF_INDESTRUCTIBLE and MF_NO_WHEEL_BREAK flags. Handling: 24820100 The left two digits enable the HF_IMPROVED_RIGHTING_FORCE and HF_HEAVYARMOUR flags. Second, I change fCollisionDamageMult, fWeaponDamageMult, and fEngineDamageMult to 0.000000. I suppose you could try both of these things, as they're what's most likely to produce the behavior you want.

- Version 221303-1701
[ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (Pawnee, IN) Build 221303-1701 This is either the third, fourth, or fifth remaster of this pack. The vehicles are based off of the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana from the TV show Parks and Recreation. All vehicles (excluding one) have reflective liveries and my partition collision feature. Known Bugs Reflective liveries disappear at awkwardly close distances Bugs with the traffic enforcement 2020 FPIU (police5): Extremely high (290K+) polygon count and thus YFT sizes Doesn't have a working collision model for the partition base, but does for the glass Bugs with the Parks and Recreation Frontier: Windows have no collision models, see this thread Model has no LODs, but has a low enough polygon count that this shouldn't matter too much Rims don't extend to the end of the tire Doesn't have reflective liveries Vehicles Included battalion: 2013 Ford Expedition (EMS) police: Ford Crown Victoria P71 (05) police1: Ford Crown Victoria P71 (99) police12: Ford Crown Victoria P7B (Liberty) police13: Ford Crown Victoria P71 (slicktop/traffic enforcement) police14: Ford Crown Victoria P7B (Liberty/traffic enforcement) police2: 2010 Dodge Charger PPV RWD police3: 2016 Ford PI Sedan police4: Ford Crown Victoria P71 (unmarked) police5: 2020 Ford PI Utility police6: 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV pranger: 2005 Nissan Frontier (Parks and Recreation/city vehicle)- 39 comments

[ELS] San Andreas Highway Patrol Pack (FHP)
So it's a new feature that I've come up with. I'm the first and only one to implement it. Basically: The rear windows and rear windshield have been made non-bulletproof The front windows and front windshield continue to be bulletproof The partition inside the vehicle has a collision model for the body and the glass Now, the officers inside the vehicle are protected from bullets - but not the criminals in the back. Prior to this, I just had all of the vehicles have car-wide bulletproof glass, protecting both officers and criminals. Here are a couple screenshots I took of this feature on one of my other packs:

Okay I just copied and pasted the installation instructions from my LAPD pack - guess I failed to notice that. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll correct it now and update.

[ELS] San Andreas Highway Patrol Pack (FHP)
The CVPI and 2014 Charger don't have any tint but have a bluish hue to the windows to mimic real-life glass. I believe the 2017/2018 Chargers should have a light smoke tint but I'm not 100% sure on that.

An Apology to the Community
This is an aspect that I had not even considered and thus I owe an additional apology for. I've amended my original post. Please believe me when I say that even what I held my original attitude, immaturity, and pettiness, I did not want other developers to take the same stance I did, and it is unfortunate that it ended up that way.

[ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (LAPD)
Hi, all of the add-on vehicle files can be extracted from the lapdaddon DLC pack. Assuming you’ve installed the DLC, within OpenIV, navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\lapdaddon\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\lapdaddonvehicles.rpf Select all of the vehicle files, then drag them out of the OpenIV window into an empty Windows Explorer directory. You may then rename them - and their corresponding ELS configuration files - to whichever slot you want to replace. For example, police7.yft => fbi2.yft police7_hi.yft => fbi2_hi.yft police7.ytd => fbi2.ytd By doing this, you will also need to make changes to the respective vehicle’s vehicles.meta entry so that the game properly recognizes the new vehicle. In your case, the 2018 Charger can replace fbi or police2 without modification. The 2016 FPIU will require meta changes. Please note that modifying the pack in this way is unsupported and I will not provide support on performing these steps. It is highly recommended for to you make a backup of your current game configuration before attempting this. If you just want these vehicles to spawn in traffic, you can modify (I believe - could be wrong) LSPDFR’s Backup.xml file to include the model names of the vehicles you want to spawn.

An Apology to the Community
You are exactly right with this. It was incredibly petty of me to - as you say - hold the community hostage. Although I cannot predict the future, I want to assure you and all other LSPDFR users that I am absolutely 100% committed to contributing to this website in a positive way, with zero strings attached. Feedback is such an incredible tool for authors like me and it is deplorable that I suppressed all forms of criticism because of my immaturity. Thank you for your comment.

An Apology to the Community
Hello everyone, As we approach a year since I left this website for the 500th time, I want to take this opportunity to apologize to the entire LSPDFR community. There are a few individuals that I owe much more significant apologies to, and I have contacted them separately. I deeply regret berating and disrespecting the users on this website. I now recognize that a significant part of a pack author's responsibility includes taking feedback and providing support to all users, regardless of the problems they face. I realize I should have helped those that needed assistance, rather than abusing them and trying to make them feel bad about themselves. The reasons for the actions I've taken cannot be explained in any other way aside from complete immaturity and an inability on my part to take any legitimate criticism, and for that I sincerely apologize. In addition, it was extremely unfair of me to expect that everyone else would have the same level of GTA V modding knowledge that I do. We all start at the same place, and I once asked the same questions too. We cannot grow and learn without asking questions. There are no such things as stupid questions. Each question is valid in its own way, and I should have answered them respectfully and to the best of my ability. I must also apologize to the LSPDFR community as a whole for uploading packs, then removing the packs, then uploading again, then removing again. I realize how this has impacted those that care about my packs or just wanted to try them out and how this appears to the average user. I am fully accepting of the title "Tactical Crybaby" - because it is undoubtedly true. I am truly grateful to those that have uploaded my packs to other websites such as Launcher Leaks. You kept my packs available for the people that wanted them while I was having a temper tantrum in the corner. I also owe a special apology to the users and staff at GTAPoliceMods. It was incredibly unfair for me to disparage your website and call it a "rip-off LSPDFR". The effort that went into creating the website and the "FivePD" mod is unimaginable to me, and I have nothing but respect for it. It is truly a community comprised of most established and respected modders - and I was jealous that I didn't have anywhere near the skill needed to participate there. Finally, as it appears that my stance toward users and departure(s) led other developers to do the same - I must also apologize for this. This was never my intention, and I had never thought that my actions would lead other developers to do the same. Even back when I held my original attitude, I never wanted to hurt the community to its core by changing the environment to a toxic pile of garbage. This further drives home the point that it is so important for me to recognize my mistakes and learn from them, and to do everything I can to set a good example now and in the future. For the past year, I've done my best to take a step back and get some perspective. I've looked back on my comments and review responses, and I cringe. My responses were so angry and so hate-filled for no legitimate reason. I would disregard feedback - only to realize later that the feedback was completely legitimate. I would often send off an angry response, only to realize later that the reviewer was absolutely correct. Even the one-star reviews for installation issues held a large amount of truth. I am incredibly ashamed of my actions and wish I had done everything differently from the very start; yet I was not mature enough to do so. I do sincerely hope that throughout my tenure on this website, you've found my packs to have grown in quality and stability. Regardless of what you think of me personally, I hope that you've found some enjoyment or use - any use - out of the packs I create. My intent is to one day return to public uploads here - between my new experience as an IT professional, the virtual help desk I created, and the lessons I've learned - I hope that I can for once contribute to and interact with this community in a positive way. Please let me know your thoughts. I want to know your honest opinion, even if - especially if - that opinion is a giant middle finger to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being with me (or against me) thus far, and I hope you'll continue to stay with me through whatever comes next. Tactical Donut

Chicago Police
Absolutely astounding. From the lighting patterns, to the liveries, to the huge variety of vehicles, this pack is incredibly well done in almost every single aspect. Sure, there are some bugs and some things in there that I'd have done differently, but overall I couldn't have done better myself. 5/5 and thank you very much for the time and effort you put into this pack; it definitely shows.
