My home community of Huntsville Ontario Canada has declared a State of Emergency as of last Friday as over 50mm of rainfall has caused rivers to swell and water levels across the district of Muskoka to rise. Parking lots have filled with stagnant water and preliminary damages are estimated at over $1 Million.Back roads have become impassable as water levels have risen and even our major highway, highway 11 has been closed due to a mixed bag of flooding and sink-holes.
