  1. Thanks for your kind works, we appreciate that! We have considered adding university police, but considering that they have a very limited jurisdiction, the amount of work to include them would not really pay off. As of now, there are no plans to add it, sorry. No worries - RDE already quite an ambitious effort. I hope the team continues to stays together, and generate great content for those that role play as first responders in GTA. Perhaps in a far future release, you all may consider adding in all the smaller jurisdictions, Del Perro (Santa Monica Police), USLA (UCLA Police), Grapeseed, Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay, and maybe additional federal units (US Marshals, ATF, DEA, etc.). In the meantime, I might play around the LEJS (Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script) to add some temporary marked units in those locations just for some added immersion. Thanks for releasing a statement, especially during this turbulent time. Glad to hear the RDE team will continue as planned! Thankfully, I backed up the entire v1032 directory once I got LSPDFR and RDE to play nicely together, prior to the update and the whole OpenIV debacle. I can attest, at least for the Steam version, that if you backed up the entire v1032 directory, then performed an update, you can roll back, by renaming the file folders. For added measure I duplicated the same back up folder to add custom cars into the RDE slots, that way I can go back to playing with a lore friendly version of RDE and LSPDR, a heavily user modified version, or bone-stock GTA V/Online version. However, as I started to add custom cars into the RDE slots I ran into some puzzling issues: (1) Multiple Liveries Doesn't Function w/ Some Vehicles I only got as far as swapping out LSPD units, and they all spawn with multi-liveries. However, when I got to the SAHP units, like hwaycar, even though multiple liveries are added to the .ytd file, vehicles spawn only with one skin. I checked the vehicle.meta files, and it appears that "FLAG_HAS_LIVERY" is placed in each car slot. I thought perhaps the issue was isolated to new stand alone add on cars, but multi-liveries functions just fine with the LSPD Gresley (police5). I'll test later with the Federal Emergency pack, and Blaine County Sheriff to see if the livery issue extends there too. Forgive my ignorance, but what additional parameter do I also have to change to get liveries to function? (handling.meta, content.xml, carvariations.eta, carcols.meta) (2) Changing Diffuse Tint in Vehicle.Meta Not Taking In Game Related to the Vehicle.meta issue with liveries. I noticed with the hwayswatcar, the original RDE vehicle.meta file has tinted windows. This caused a problem with a blacked out light bar on an add-on Tahoe. I changed the value to no tint, <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />, and relaunching into game it did not take effect. (3) Simple Native Trainer, Car Customization Tab/Menu Functionality Missing Related to the tint issue above, I tried to use SNT (Simple Native Trainer) to change the vehicle tint in game, but noticed that for all add-on vehicles, I could only enable turbo or xenon lights. In general what is the work around to add SNT car customization for stand alone add on cars?
  2. It took me awhile to figure out how to make RDE work with LSPDFR. Until a more official fix comes out, a temporary fix to get you up and going is to remove the 6-star wanted scripts. Be sure to also use the gameconfig file that that prevents memory crashes: https://www.mediafire.com/?jw7jw6jb7iu1vw8 Also if you run with SNT (Simple Native Trainer), be sure to toggle off "Police Won't Dispatch", as this causes spawned units to stay stuck in their spawned position. Thanks for summarizing the list of updates. Keep up all the great work! I am truly impressed with depth, models, textures, scripting, all the hard work, and collaboration that went into developing RDE. It's simply amazing, it's brought new life to GTA V, especially when paired with LSPDFR, and role playing as a first responder just isn't the same without RDE. For added impression would The Realism Team be open to the idea of adding another jurisdiction for university police at ULSA (University of San Andreas, Los Santos)?
