Just ridicules! So many people enjoying the game with mods and so many people, including myself (which I first  bought the game on ps3), bought the game AGAIN on the pc version just for the mods! Look how many on YouTube/ Twitch enjoying playing with mods on FiveM or singleplayer.. If not the mods, this game was long gone a long time ago, the game is 4 years old if I'm not mistaking. Someone mentioned it here before already, take for example the game Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator, there's so many mods for this game which kept the game alive for 4 years and the game is still fun because of the mods. SCS, which is the developer, promotes modding and has a built-in mod manager in the game. 

I think it's more the statement this makes. Shutting down OpenIV is essentially Take Two saying they do not want anyone using mods in GTA, regardless on if you play Online. They probably didn't mean for it to be that way, to be fair they probably barely know what OpenIV does, but it makes a pretty big statement. Before, it was basically "don't ask, don't tell."

I have gta 5 legal and pirated, you can play LSPDFR on cracked gta, just use some tricks.
I'll not uninstall open IV (when i start it, i just press "unistall later"), we can start uploading some illegal copies of open IV here or on 4chan...

You need to save these files: Update.rpf, Gta5 and gta5launcher.exe and steamapi64.dll because it will be updated with gta
