Hey Harper ... did you ever installed a savegame via xlive.dll ? Just realised that it changes your savegame dir to C:\YOUR NAME\ Documents\ Rockstar Games\ GTA IV\ savegames\ if you do. So i guess ... both paths are right ;) <3

look for xlive.dll and dsound.dll ... if you got them both in your gta game dir delete one of em and it should work. if you delete the xlive.dll it might happen that your savegame is not working anymore.

i would say it's the motherboard the nforce chip has never been the fastes

i know that there is a ( no-els ) version on gtainside ... you're right the cars come close but not close enough ... if i would be able to reskin them by myself i would have done it already ... but anyways ... nevermind that wasn't much of a help ... but thank you.

You're not right on that, in there is a Tarus ... yes ... but it's just the stealth version and the black interceptor and the CVPI's are LAPD and LASD some K9 ... NO NYPD ... and i was looking for NYPD ... since you're in the same time zone with me ... nimms mit nicht

Update your game to 1.0.7.0 before you reinstall LCPD;FR would be wise.

Funny that just reminds me of the movie Fight Club ... hm i should watch it again ... anyway ... just one thing i'm missing right here ... i don't know if that will fix your problem but it's worth a try ... these are my first three lines of the DT: See what i mean? You're missing the Service Pack 1. As i said i'm not sure on this if it will fix your problem just give it a try.

Actually this should be where to start off. Check your GTA install folder look for a folder called " scripts " in there should be a lot of files ... look for a file called " FirstResponse.net.dll " i bet you're missing the whole scripts folder. Run the Version 0.91 automatic install and you should be fine. It should look like this " 2011-06-09 16:41:43 - SEARCHING FOR SCRIPTS... 2011-06-09 16:41:43 - Loading scripts in Assembly 'scripts\FirstResponse.net.dll' ... " after you ran it. Sorry dude i don't wanna be rude or something but he won't find any savegame there first of all the savegame part might be correct but it's located somewhere else. First show the hidden files in Windows 7 ... how? Check this show hidden files. Now go to your computer and check this path : C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames and there you are ... all your savegames. Just in case but i think you won't need this. Sorry Harper no bad feelings but your path was just wrong and sorry for my englisch it's not my language ;)

Guess he does try running the game as admin if that wont work check if you got any other mods installed if yes disable them and try again.
