temporarily switching the folder name to _mods and reinstalling VisualV+NaturalVision seemed to do the trick. Now EUP is being weird and not recognizing my install. The saga never ends with this stuff! >.<

Hmm. then maybe its a problem with my D-Pad.. My character selector isn't coming up at all & this problem appeared literal moments after installing NVR.

I just finished installing Naturalvision remastered as well as a few new police cars and re-installing EUP only to find out that the A button on my xbox one controller is now bound to the "start recording" button and B is bound to "action replay on/off" How could something like this happen? How do I fix it without undoing all my work? (it was a major hassle getting NVR properly installed for some odd reason) Thanks!

Kallus, I'm using a slightly altered version of the numbers you gave me. The lights look great. However, do your lights change back to yellow for a few hours during dusk & dawn? I noticed that around 4-5am and 7-8pm they are in a weird transition from day to night and are yellow once again for a few in game minutes.

Oh, and while I have you here. Do you know which line I would edit in a gameconfig to add more peds & traffic? I have downloaded x5 peds x5 traffic but the config crashes my game. something specific about this current config is holding everything together. I'd like to continually bump up the peds and traffic and see where the config (and my computers) limits are.

Open IV Search all directories for visualsettings.dat drag the file to your desktop and rename it visualsettings.txt Ctrl+F and search for car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on and use these numbers instead: car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on 400.00 car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on 280.00 Save, Rename to visualsettings.dat and place back into Open IV Finish

The lights aren't too bright & the tail lights aren't super blown out and annoying to look at. Really.. the only thing that seems to be different are the police lights. (Realistic radiance & Radiance V do not crash my game.. they are WAY too bright though) However, if I load up the game with those visual settings, set the daytime to night & the weather to rain, I can recreate the same crash within a few moments. If there is no obvious fix to this.. Can anyone point me to the lines I can edit to ONLY make the police lights brighter? (and what the values should be) I would like to basically copy the emergency light brightness and keep the rest vanilla. Thanks!

Hey guys, I just recently tried out ELS for the first time (I know, I know. I should have done it sooner) I primarily use a controller when playing LSPDFR and use a keyboard for some of the post-arrest plugins like search, breathalyze and paperwork. However, ELS has a controller mode and a few of its default buttons are nice while others cause conflicts with Police radio and other mods. And it's actually making me think twice about using the mod. (the author had to make everything a bit more complicated by not using the traditional ini setup with control changers like: Lights On/Off=DPad Up) Post your advice or even better, a copy of this section in YOUR .ini and lets swap setups! I'd really like to keep the siren on/off mapped to d-pad down and maybe get light control with D-pad up since ELS has disabled the cellphone while in a vehicle. All other keybinds need to go primarily to the keyboard and I'll use my controllers chatpad to change siren tones etc. THANKS!

I guess it's technically the GUI that isn't coming up. >.<

Direct X hook was not checked.. I cannot find Force window or DX11 in the rage settings. I can confirm that they are both loading in properly and I can use them just fine(by guessing what I am pressing) Its just the UI is invisible on both plugins.

Today I decided to add a few more callout plugins (all of which worked.) However, they seemed to cause my police radio to continue to work but without the UI appearing in the bottom right corner. Also it appears that my cheat console menu that is tied to the ` button only pauses the game and is likely suffering from the same UI issue. Even after removing all the mods that I added today the problem persists... Anyone else having this? (also reinstalling fresh smart radio files didn't work) (I also cant find/remember the name of the mod for the cheat menu trainer I used that was tied to my ` button)

Wong, try to find out what version your GTA V is on. You should be on 1032. The fact that it's telling you you're on 0 is a lie, in all likelihood you're still on 1011. Afterwards if you still get crashes because of a "FATAL ERROR" make sure to get the newest version of Scripthook V. Hope that helps.

it looks like you somehow got Police radio to work, I can't even get that little radio to pop up at all. I'm having to put license plates into my computer the old fashioned way & using Ctrl+H to open traffic policer(Or it could be scene manager) to call my tow trucks. I left a comment on Jeff Favignano's most recent video about Albo's SmartRadio and if he has any idea when it will be released. Crossing my fingers that he replies & has any info. Which mod for searching vehicles & peds has been working for you?? I have search warrant and police search both installed and neither are working, maybe i'll try to put them in again and see if I missed anything.

I'm having some difficulty with Vocal Dispatch listening to me.. No matter they keys I set I cannot get it to listen. However Scene manager works for coroner & tow truck, so I'll be fine using that until SmartRadio gets released. However, I'd like to ask what plate checker you are using (the ALPR seems really OP unless I turn all the values way down) & what you are using for searching Peds & Vehicles. Any plate checkers or search mods I add to my directory don't seem to work at all! Thanks Again!!!!

I wish i could find a mod to completely un-map all the keyboard functions for controlling gta (I can contorl everything just fine with my controller) and only have the keyboard trigger mods or typing names/plates into computer+. Hello! I just officially started modding this game today.. All went well & was pretty straight forward. I initially only had errors with Albo's mods & had to track down new versions. Everything was looking peachy (or so I thought) until I tried to pull out the fincone's police radio & run someones plates. I then noticed that the only alternative would be Albo's SmartRadio BETA which I can only get through a loyalty program & being my first day I think it's unlikely Albo will feel I am very loyal after 24hr's of modding GTA. I have simple plate checker installed to fix this but it seems to not be playing nice with the new GTA update. At this point it looks like I will have to be running plates the old fashioned way. ALSO, does anyone have a link to somewhere that has a compiled list of the most popular mods key bindings? Thanks

Unfortunately with the new GTA update i'm finding out (after hours of trying) that police radio no longer works & that SmartRadio is the only alternative... Another huge bummer is that it is a beta hidden behind a temporary pay wall until Albo officially releases it. (Who know's how long that will be) And finding a workaround or alternative to it is impossible. Also, having just jumped into LSPDFR and all the modding that goes along with it I very quickly noticed that none of the mods have clearly defined key bindings or a in game mod menu for changing them. Having to go through .ini's repeatedly and remembering which key controls what is pretty confusing so far. It would be nice if someone compiled a key bindings list for the most popular mods for us newbies to view and slowly memorize.
