Have you got "games for windows live" account? every one that plays GTAIV with scripts and stuff should of already installed GFWL. When you click Run as Admin on the GTAIV.exe... GFWL will pop up saying you want to play offline or play online, click on the "play online" and before that, enter your email and password if needed.

I just got online around 30mins ago, and I always check LCPDFR.com and other site for updates that I may be important. I get to the main point of what this thread is all about. google is not working for me, google is saying that we're are sorry! for the past 30mins I have run my Antivirus and other programs to check for any malware, and It's saying it's safe. and so It might be my network.... this is the first time i had this problem from google. I attached an image, and I hope someone can help and see anyone else had this problem

ZLIB is a program used by Rockstar to decompress data from a disc to the harddrive, which point to that the disc is damaged. But You have steam so it different as steam does not have disc versions.. but You should check your drives for any errors and damaged. Below are my suggestions: 1) Go into your Steam settings and switch to another region for your download server. 2) Then turn off your antivirus. 3) Use Steam to verify the integrity of the game cache (or download a new installation) 4) Try to run (or install) the game again with the antivirus off. 5) Download this http://computerhealthissues.com/fatal-error-zlib20-in-gta.php 6) re-download GTAIV again or create another account Hope this helps.
