Siren Mastery | Fully master your siren tones!
@Coreycss21 Thanks! It looks like you clicked into a wrong menu somewhere. If you look in the top right corner of the window in the first screenshot, you'll notice that it says "Select folder". That is why you do not see the resident.rpf file and only see folders. All you should need to do is launch OpenIV and click "Windows" under "Grand Theft Auto V". Then simply click through the folders you see in the window that pops up to get to the resident.rpf file. Let me know if this helps!

Are you silencing your sirens before you exit your vehicle? If you don't, they will turn back on when you re-enter. Also, if you perform a traffic stop, the siren will turn back on if you are code 4 when you re-enter your vehicle.

Download the ELS mod again. Unzip it and look in the Documentation folder for a file called Default Controls (ELS-V). That file contains the up to date chart. Alternatively, since this is just a quick test, set it to 96 (Numpad 0).

I wonder if ELS is interfering somehow...can you try changing the J key in ELS to something else? If I set my NextSirenKey=J to NextSirenKey=None for SirenMastery, it doesn't start the siren. I don't have ELS though.

@icallhertaco11 Check the KeyboardConfig.ini in GTA V\plugins\SirenMastery\Config. J is the default key for next siren. //Default: NextSirenKey=J NextSirenKey=J

@Coreycss21 Can you launch OpenIV and get as far as you can and then take a screenshot and post it here? The more information you can provide, the quicker we can help.

@Coreycss21 Try looking here: GTAV\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf instead of here: GTAV\(mods)\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf for the vehicles.awc file. If you haven't done a lot of modding, the files will most likely not be in the mod folder.

Thanks Albo! This gave me a few things to try and I got it working. In case anyone else has this issue, here's how I fixed it. I recently got a Logitech headset, so I guess the default settings don't work well. I changed the "Default Format" in Sound > Playback > Advanced to "FM Radio Quality" instead of "DVD Quality". I then changed the Surround Sound mixer in the Logitech software from Dolby to DTS. After making those changes, it started working like normal again. Thanks again! :D

Albo, first of all, love all of your mods. Keep up the great work! So, I'm having a little trouble with Siren Mastery. I just installed the latest Ragehook update and now Siren Mastery is crashing. It loads OK, but it crashes as soon as I hop into a police vehicle. I ran the troubleshooter which didn't find any errors. I also downloaded and reinstalled Siren Mastery as well. Here is a link to my log file. http://pastebin.com/WiUuSL0q This is what appears to be the main error from the log, but I could be wrong: System.NullReferenceException --> at NAudio.Wave.WaveOutEvent.Init(IWaveProvider waveProvider) Thanks in advance!
