MisterFirestorm got a reaction from SasaGamer in LCPDFR 1.1 and 1.0dI recently bought GTA IV. I have GTA V along with LSPDFR. After playing and loving the LSPDFR mod, I wanted to try out LCPDFR only to find out that version 1.1 of LCPDFR is not compatible with version 1.8 of GTA IV. I have even tried the automatic and manual installation of both LCPDFR 1.1 and 1.0d, but the entire GTA IV game would not start up. I have a steam version of GTA IV, and I do not know how to go back to version 1.7.0 of GTA IV. If anyone could inform me of any way I can fix this, please do. If not then please state whether or not you know if the LCPDFR team will ever consider updating at least one last time. The game of GTA IV and mod of LCPDFR may be old, but people do still play it/want to play it. Please give me any information of this if you could, thank you.

MisterFirestorm reacted to DukSezQuak in LCPDFR 1.1 and 1.0dUnfortunately, LCPD:FR is not compatible with version 1.0.8.0 of GTA:IV. The developing team, as far as I last heard, are not planning on updating the LCPD:FR modification, as it will require too much work, especially when most players have now moved on to GTA V. The only way for you to be able to use the LCPD:FR mod on GTA IV is to roll-back to version 1.0.7.0, which I am not sure if that is entirely possible with Steam, but perhaps another member on the site will be able to clarify that.

MisterFirestorm reacted to CouthInk4 in LCPDFR 1.1 and 1.0dLCPDFR is EOL (End of Line) So we will not be updating. It's also impossible for us to update it since Scripthook and AdvancedScriptHook will need updating (which no longer exist). We're also fully focused on developing LSPDFR.
You will need to downgrade your game to 1.0.7.0 in order to play LCPDFR.

MisterFirestorm reacted to CouthInk4 in LCPDFR 1.1 and 1.0dHonestly, you're better off. Although LCPDFR is great, However LSPDFR has a lot more potential and offers a lot more options. Grand Theft Auto IV is also a buggy mess so you can't load it with many mods and not crash every 15 minutes. LSPDFR and GTA V are a better option
